The elephant in the room is people don't like Brodie because he's not afraid to say what is on his mind. But he owns his opinions, I may not agree with ALL of them, but that is normal and ok. We NEED strong voices in this sport, they won't always be "right", but sometimes they will and affect a good change in this great sport. Keep kickin Brodie, awesome pod guys.

Seems disrespectful for her to ghost them and then start drama like what happened to ppl talking to each other and being okay having different opinions and views…she could’ve just said hey no thanks at least. Brodie is controversial and I have different opinions than him but you gotta have mad respect for the dude. He definitely cares about the sport and has brought a TON of attention and money to it.

If we accept the commonly misused form of the word drama. She ghosted them, then threw shade in the most public way possible. To the point even Uli had to call it "soft." I think PP is deep down a good person but upset at Brodie for something. She needs to come on and set things right in the future. For her own sake. At minimum, she needs to do it in private.

Brodie was soooooo needed in this sport. The Pollyanna culture started by Terry, Ian and others is so unappealing to many of us. Disc golf's growth needed people who aren't afraid to be controversial. Imagine what Stephen A Smith would have said about any player including Paige over the last few years? Brodie should actually push this stuff even further. There is not another podcast that I can listen to for hours over this one. Pioneers!

I think Simon is the biggest natural talent and one of the greatest players this sport has ever seen. The man is already a legend and his career is still going, and he's only getting better with age. And the joy with which he plays is infectious. Never count him out.

I think also seeing the clips from the podcast on Instagram can come off in a way that makes Paige think it's all about speculation and Brodie doesn't actually know what he's talking about. But if she watched a full episode she might have a different opinion of the podcast. Brodie's one of the most passionate people when it comes to disc golf as a whole and growing the sport.

The only reason this show is considered "controversial" is because so many DG pros are so sensitive, and used to fluffy, ego-stroking. I have to wonder how many of them actually watch other sports commentators at all. Paige loves the attention, as long as she's at the center of it. But God forbid you say anything critical about her.

Its not a team sport. Take that for what its worth but it attracts a lot of people who are about themselves. Its a completely different vibe from team sports. Its why I'll always prefer ultimate over DG. Ppl overall have always been friendlier to me in ultimate. DG I have a 50/50 chance the person on a card wants to be left alone. Its weird

The podcast gets ears and eyes on it. I think it covers the tour really well from various perspectives as you have guests on the show from various backgrounds. I think other players would be silly not to come on and give your audience a chance to become a fan, it helps their sponsorships which in turn helps grow the sport in a really meaningful way. Keep them coming because it is terrific content.

I'm a picky podcast listener and the thing I like about Brodie here specifically is that you discuss a great variety of disc golf topics exceptionally evenly AND you do also treat your guests with respect. I'm sure if Page actually listened to you she'd realize you may even be the best ambassador of our sport that we currently have. I think Page may just be a bit intimidated by your general style of sometimes throwing jabs on Twitter etc.

Im usually 50/50 on agreeing/disagreeing with his takes, but i love the fact every single week he's pushing the discussion trying to elevate disc golf for everyone and especially talking sbout things other media outlets are afraid or timid about covering. I disagree with Uli: Luke's big mistake was his drive on 17. He watched Gannon's tee shot shank fade in the crap on the left and then proceeds to do the same thing. Imagine if he pipes it down the middle and now Gannon has to play hero and Luke can react and play safe if he needs to. That would have been electric ⚡

Funny enough this podcast is what made me start watching FPO. To me watching FPO is like watching advanced men. But it’s getting better. Also, not comparing them to myself just comparing entertainment value. Most of those women would whoop my ass during a round. So that’s not my stance. As sometime who threw things my entire childhood (baseball, football, etc) forehands make zero sense to me. Overhands come super naturally but I can’t release a forehand to save my life

Think about throwing it the same way as a fastball then just bend your body forward as much as you can while still being able to throw a fastball. Then pick an overstable disc and throw a fastball with it and see what happens

Just played New London this last weekend, i shot +7 in both the rounds i played. I had 5 double bogeys in those two rounds, and only 5 birdies in those two rounds. This course genuinely is the most fair course i have ever played while it also punishes ANY and ALL poor shots. I shot +7 but I can think about the 5 or 6 strokes that i lost by just being off on a few shots. I was so close to being able to shoot E or under par. But just a few mistakes cost so much. The conversation about the lowest and highest end scores made me pumped to see the top pros play this course. I think it could be the course that Uli wants to see. Going to be so exciting to watch

Brodie is sponsored but hes not gonna starve without them. Thats why he can be a bit more stark, frank, and honest with his opinions. Clearly the dgpt hates him for his criticisms and that illustrates why people dependent on the tour cant say what Brodie will 🤷‍♂️

Not happy with how Brodie handled the whole thing with PP. She didn’t say she hated you or even that you’re terrible as you mentioned. As Uli said, she gave her opinion about your PODCAST and anyone is entitled to that. From the tweets to the segment on this video, she’s clearly living rent free in your head my dude. That said, I don’t agree with her take, drama is not the word I would use, but for lack of better terms, I agree with Brodie that it keeps the sport interesting. I think most would agree, and you clearly have a successful podcast, so nothing to prove at all. If she doesn’t like the pod then that’s her loss right? Don’t let it get to you so much.

I love Paige, but she seems to like to throw things out there in the media that will create some waves but gets overly defensive if she is criticized. (She thinks she would be top 40 in MPO? She wants Kristen to bring her A game?) All that stuff... Her negative comments about Tour Life seemed completely unnecessary and almost like she had a plan to slam Brodie given the chance. Tour Life and the other Foundation Podcasts talk about all the good and bad going on in the sport! (Most of the other shows just sit around and give each other compliments) And to further support one of Brodie's points, just wait until all these player personal lives start getting tossed around more in the media. I digress, I still love Paige........ But 100% support Brodie, Uli, and Foundation!

Go watch Paige’s podcast with Kat Merch as guest. Her interview with Terry in its entirety turned me off to her. Real classy and great Discraft teammate she is too, wow.

Brodie irritates the HELL out of me at times. He is incapable of speaking at a normal volume. He speaks over people. He is brash and and yes, I think he does stoke drama. BUT, that's what makes it interesting. I think he is completely correct that he never (as far as I know) makes it personal. That is an excellent delineation. Keep it about the sport. What a person puts on TV should be fair game. I continue to watch this pod because it is (in my opinion) the most interesting pod about the sport. They keep it real. And I REALLY enjoy hearing active pros talking to active pros. It is a really unique perspective you don't get from other pods. I find any pod or tv show that just has a guest on and fluffs them up is mind-numbingly boring.
