Honestly, this kind of treatment towards kids from a young age can cause not only ptsd from the trauma but also distrust in adults or people who are older than her. 😢
They should be mad at their mothers. Not Abby. Their mothers (and the girls who chose to stay) just wanted fame so they stayed. Now they have fame so they want to go after her. Give me a break.

The girls wanted to stay for their friends and the pressure to be professional when they were older because they were always taught by Abby that your basically a failure if you don’t make it on Broadway. The moms were jumbled up in that mess too. All the moms took their kids away as soon as they started showing disinterest in dance. Their moms were the only ones to protect them so don’t you ever blame them.
@@rerelux6311 they were more than friends, they were family. They grew up together and basically live together at the studio. Again, Abby basically brainwashed the kids into believing ALDC was the only way to make the kids successful and they wouldn’t be successful anywhere else. The kids were terrified whenever they were pulled away from the studio, kinda like a drug to them.

The moms never all got along with each other, why do you think they would literally MOVE to who knows where for eachother. Do you even realize how difficult that would be? And do you not know what an addiction is? Do you really think your body is going to stop panicking from the lack of whatever it needs just bc mommy and daddy said no?

And several left so clearly those contracts had limitations, including Maddie and Mackenzie. So, I stand by my statement.
Yep! These mothers should have been standing up for their children and then going to a different studio. They stayed because they were interested in being on tv.
@@userishawtOne, children make friends easily, dancers even easier. Two, it’s dance, they can see eachother outside of dance. Three, saying Kelly stated because she knew her for a long time doesn’t justify putting her kids through that. Stupid adults being selfish.

This is so sad.Paige was treated so bad.I love how Christi hugged her.Christi was always a very kind dance mom and cares about all of the girls.Even Maddie.Paige deserved much better and brooke.I feel like abby was mean to them on purpose.Like all the girls were treated badly but this is far worse than how the other girls were treated.And yet Abby says that she cares for all of her student and that she doesn't play favorites.
So many people dont realize that Kelli was Abby's student so that relationship goes very deep. In one episode Abby said that she liked a guy and he liked Kelli... A lot of jealousy
In the end it was the moms that were the real villains. They chose to put their daughters through that torment for years and years and years. They gave evil Abby access to them.... They chose money and fame over their daughters mental health and it's disgusting.
The mothers had a contract with lifetime and even though they wanted to leave the show and the company they were threatened and forced to stay. Pretty sure Melissa tried to take her daughters away but they threatened to take everything away from her and sue her. So the mothers were victims too. Dont be ignorant.

In the end you need to shut your mouth and realize they were under a contract that took years for them to terminate so even if they wanted to leave which they did they couldn’t until years later.
It was her mother’s responsibility to keep her safe , she is the one who took her to the Doctor, why did she take her to dance class and allowed her to dance with a broken foot?
Fun fact, paige (the little girl) DID sue abby and abby won the lawsuit. The judge determined that Paige could not have legitimately feared being injured during the incident (the chair being thrown at her). So yes, abby was sued and no, abby never lost a lawsuit

First of all Christi comforting her is like the sweetest thing second of all when Abby threw the chair a lot of people say it was at Paige but she just threw it and it went really close to Paige. Now I’m not saying that what Abby did was ok, it was completely uncalled for. I felt so bad for paige😢
I grew up dancing and I absolutely loved it, yes I had tough teachers, but none of them were ever this cruel. You don’t fall in love with something when you’re constantly getting screamed at or you’re afraid of your teacher. Fun fact, the studio u grew up dancing at produced nearly triple the amount of stars and professional dancers that Abby did, and they did it without causing any PTSD.

I think it was always obvious that Paige was scared of Abby because she would have these panic attacks and she would always run off the stage because she was scared of what Abby was going to say to her
Al of these girls should thank their mothers for the treatment they received. They wouldn’t be known _at all_ if it weren’t for the show and their own mothers kept them there. Stop blaming Abby when you gave her the power over and over and used her to become famous.
This reminds of Kelly saying that production promised to add the stoppers for her, so she could take her kids home the night before, but they didn’t do it. Then Abby took it out on her and Paige. The producers set Paige and Kelly up. I wonder if they were allowed to mention that part on air🤔

i genuinely believe abby was jealous of paige. She always mentioned how paige was a waste of talent because she had a dancer’s body naturally and stuff. And I feel like she was jealous of her and took it out on her as well as not liking their mom

this in no way would qualify as trafficking, and if anyone was exploiting the kids it was the producers. christi and kelly have talked multiple times about how much they tried to protect their kids and tried to leave several times before they were able to
I feel for these girls. They always look back and regret them not standing up to Abby when in reality, their parents should have done it. Contract or no contract if your child has a broken foot, put your fucking foot down and tell them she isn’t dancing?? It’s not for paige to decide that’s on kelly.
For ABBY it was all about branding and money. Using those little girls as mini prostitutes to push forward her gross business. It would not have been a surprise if she forced them to wear G Strings at 17-18 years old age gap. She brow beaten them into a Stockholm PTSD mental State. Too bad the Dad’s didn’t sometimes sneak into the audience to see how their baby daughters were doing. Melissa was getting divorced and was jaded and was happy her daughter Maddie was earning an income. Fortunately Maddie took all the abuse and indirectly protected little sis McKenzie from the harsh reality. McKenzie was actually more skilled and enjoyed dancing as an innocent child unawares of evil adult’s greed and exploitation behavior. I hope she is healed and in college having a good life away from these clandestine predators. ABBY SHOULD BE A FOOTBALL COACH. Not a dance teacher to vulnerable preteen girls who were promised fame and fortune while beaten down to lose all sense of self worth and trust.
I don’t get why all these moms kept their child in the class with her treating them terribly. She isn’t the only teacher out there. I didn’t watch the show so idk why they stayed or anything. These clips just keep popping up on my stuff so I’ve seen a few of her power trips over little girls and it’s ridiculous.

Abby was apparently abused by her mother and became desensitized and took it out on these babies. She had no redemptive value as she never had a daughter or experienced motherhood. Lack of human bonding. An animal in the jungle, if you would even offer that!👿
I think it was all reality tv ...they all have scripts cause there is no way kids would even be aloud to film with the bad swearin they had to sign contracts they could have a years contract nobody asked them to take part in this reality tv show so ....mean bad abby real isnt as bad as the mums make out ....
I really hated this show I hated that the coach treated the girls when they dancing the coach was an absolute b****and I really think that she should have been kicked off the show because for the way she treated the girls in her dance team
Ich verstehe nicht das Mütter sowas ihren Töchtern das antun. Die Kinder werden von der Frau da fertig gemacht und die Mütter lassen das zu. Ich hab kein Verständnis für sowas. Kinder sollten sowas nicht ausgesetzt werden und vielleicht stattdessen lieber eine normale Kindheit haben, als das da. Und das sowas auch noch im Fernsehen gezeigt wird und bei keinem die Alarmglocken läuten, versteh ich nicht.
I honestly dont blame abby for flipping out on the producers for not letting kelly tale the chair home but dont do that infornt of the child she did nothing wrong
