I love these older videos! I remember when you had to go up to the school to deliver meds and drinks to the kiddos. Now they can watch this and look back. Little Niko when he was a baby! Remember when he used to look at you when you were carrying him and you would have to look back and he would laugh! lol

It’s probably to late but don’t use straws. It causes the suction and causes more pain and sometimes tears the scab. I worked with a ent for several years in my nursing

The ear pain is from the scabs coming off. Once they fall off they will feel so much better!!

When or even if the younger ones end up needing to have their tonsils out good rule of thumb is apple sauce yogurt bone,chicken,beef,vegetable broths mashed potatoes Popsicles juices semi frozen will help out alot

It is so fun to see the kids younger. This was grueling for all of you. I had a feeling when you said orange chicken it would hurt them. Normally they would have been fine. Isn't it good to look back?

A friend of mine had hers out at 17 years old and her dr told her to use a squirt bottle to keep everything from drying out

I remember when I got my to tonsils taken out! It was so painful! It was really bad for me cause I was like 16 I think and they say the older you are the more painful it is and the longer it takes to recover! Plus when I had my tonsils taken out I had to stay in the hospital until I could eat solid food!

thank god I was 3 when I had mine out, I was in the hospital with pneumonia and tonsilitis at the same time, almost passed away but over 50 years later still here.

You are an amazing mom. I am currently going through the recovery process of the tonsillectomy. I had bad bleeding and had to have another surgery so I wasn’t very lucky but I could see in my mom’s face how hard it was to see her son have pain. U are very strong.
