Painful paws from nettles| Loulou & Coco’s Diary. 

We took such long walks that I felt my feet. Loulou & Coco also felt their paws from the nettles. I dabbed some vinegar on it and later coconut oil. The microphone works, but unfortunately not well enough because I had to remove a lot of nice fragments because the microphone itself made a disturbing clicking noise. Actually it doesn't work for phones it's too fragile. I have to think of something else to film outside and not hear the loud noise of the wind in the phone. Every time I see Loulou on the water's edge, I'm cheering for her to leap in. She's mellowing.

So nice to see your babies. I'm absolutely broken hearted as I had to send my black and tan, Ozzy, to Jesus 2 days ago. He was almost 14yrs old and we think he had, what I call, doggie dementia. I've got a hole in my heart you could drive a truck through. We've grown old together. I used to drive semi truck and he was my co-pilot for 6yrs before I retired in 2015, then we just led the quiet country life!! God bless your pups, I hope they're around for a VERY long time!!

Eveline, the naturally growing herb Plantain, both broad & narrow leaf, grows right by the nettles. Pick it, wash it off & squeeze the juice out. Rub it where the sting from the nettles is. It really works. I'm so enjoying your lovely videos 💖🐾🐾💖

Oh my gosh, 15 minutes of that noise, I would hiding under the pillows and blankets too!! 😂 What’s the pint if the noise, how dies that help anyone!! To me it hurts people and and animals! CoCo and Lou Lou are too adorable for words! (And you have a husband that vacuums!? Sweet!!)

Oh, my goodness! My sympathies are entirely with Loulou and Coco! I carry both genes for misophonia (I can't abide certain sounds), so while I might sympathize with causes, I do so very quietly. Nettles? Here where I live in the US there are "stinging nettles," and the slightest touch produces instant water blisters that itch very badly (we called nettles" burning weed" on the farm). I'm horribly allergic to them. I tried on a pair of slacks many years ago made of 50% ramie, 50% cotton, and had to go home instantly and shower. That's when I found out ramie is an Asian nettle plant. Again, I'm allergic. Well, after testing, I found out I'm allergic to a lot of things outdoors which is why I'm strictly an indoor person who keeps antihistamines conveniently close. 😉 I really like your little white Call Ducks. They're adorable! Hope your spring is warm and sunny. It's still pretty cool here and we had rain and snow within the last couple of days. I'm ready for warm weather! Best wishes and grandmotherly hugs to your entire family! 🤗💞

Our girls would be going crazy with the honking horns. They've come to associate it with someone pulling up in the driveway. They'll even come out of a dead sleep if they hear a horn beep quickly on the surround sound when we're watching a movie. Funny but irritating if you're really into the movie and have to spend 10 minutes calming down the crew, LOL. 🤣

Your countryside is gorgeous in Spring. We live in Texas USA and we need rain badly. Our grass is dried up. Love your girls running. We have 3 doxies… two black and one red.

Good morning, Eveline! My poor Velvet Babies! I did not think the Netherlands had any “mean” plants, but I guess that I was wrong! I am glad Loulou and Coco feel better. Did you see the look on their faces when they were on the couch when the trunks passed the first time? The looks on their faces was spot on! When the trucks passed the second time, the poor fish were so agitated that they took cover with the ducks!🥺 The horn honking is for a good cause, but maybe they can have a fireworks show instead?🧐 Here’s an idea: Velvet Loulou and Coco Puff can run among the Dutch 🌷 💐! You will get tons of mileage out of that one being that tulips are associated with The Netherlands!🌷💕💐

Nettles, trucks what an exhausting morning😏

I feel for Loulou and Coco having nettle stung paws poor loves. I've quite often been stung on my legs when out walking. And flipping neck they itch 😤.

Dock leaves crushed so the juice comes out and rubbed on the paws stops the stinging. They always grow near nettles, I’ve used them on me my young children and my dogs. There a natural remedy.
