My long term girlfriend just broke up with me. She had been doing a bunch of different things that hurt me, but I love her so much so I let it go. I changed over and over again to be who she wanted me to be but it wasn't enough. When she said she couldn't be with me it hurt like nothing else. I listened to these songs before we broke up, and now afterwards. Music hits way differently after a break up like that. I still really love her and I know I shouldn't but if she would ask I would go right back.

Hey, i'm not sure you'll ever read this, but your music has been a HUGE crutch in my last couple months. My older brother fell into gang violence and drugs and was living in a tent outside the city and the cops found him burned alive, just a charred corpse, and I haven't been able to release a single tear because I just refused it to be true. We were from the same father from different mothers, so different households and both were abusive. Everyone hated him and everyone hated me but when, the few times I got to see him, was peace. It all went away, he was strong and violent and taught me how to be a man, and I stood up for him and he stood up for me against our own family both sides. But, in the last couple days i've been getting drunk to your songs and finally crying, over, and over, and over, and I just want to thank you. Through your voice i'm allowed to still live with my brother, and it means the WORLD to me. We aren't punching each other, or racing cars anymore but, he's here, I know he his, thank you. Something in the emotion of your voice connected with me and allowed me to finally let it all out, I am forever grateful.

i dont wanna be weird but i was playing this on in the back ground as I draw and at 1:55 i had an ex tell me these exact words. perception of reality is a really complex thing, assuming is a dangerous part of it if youre assuming negative things or the wrong things. Perhaps i did only love the idea of it, im unsure how that's possible, its a perspective of reality i think is a bit too black and white but its valid. i can be psychotic and delusional and its a hard thing to process a crazy persons intentions when they cant understand it themselves, but now that i realize it was potential in us that you were after, I had to have been way to absorbed in my overthinking spirally panicky existential nature to ever listen to your emotions, your perspective. and now i own my sins, i pay for them and i hope you manifested the one for you and I hope to lern my lesson. the universe hasnt killed me yet so...
