I saw the cameo IOD inlay and didn’t think it was one of my favorites but when I see what you did here my heart literally sped up. It’s so beautiful! I actually think it’s a favorite now! Jonathon❤! I must say that i was a bit dismayed when i saw the release of Ms Sloan's paint inlay. While i find it beautiful and quite unique, I was unable to see a practical way in which to use it. WOW! You really opened my eyes to the many, many wonderful possibilities of this inlay. You have created a lovely, Swedish looking side cabinet that will look gorgeous in any home. Many thanks for sharing your take on how to use this very different type of classical art from Annie Sloan!! 😊🙏❤

I'm an absolute sucker for Scandinavia Pink and any variation of it! The tone you created is gorgeous! As someone else said, I was almost a bit disappointed when I saw Annie's inlay because it wasn't really "my style" and I couldn't see myself using it, but as always you've opened my eyes to a different point of view on this very unique and diverse inlay. Anything Cameo really has to be that wonderful patina-pink, imo. In the 70's, cameo brooches and pendants were very popular and many were that muted pinky color. It's very nostalgic. Love it!

Jonathon, I have a big Amoire I want to refinish with chalk paint. I’ve found a piece on Pinterest 2 yrs ago that is the color I want to make mine, but they say they used Annie Sloan COCO & OLIVE, then white wax, but I don’t know how to begin, AND from samples I’ve looked at of these colors I find it hard to imagine that these colors make THAT COLOR I want. Is there any possibility or way I can send you a pic of the piece to get your opinion??? I don’t see a way to send it here in comments?? Thank you if you are able to help with this.
