Ashleigh..I totally think you should now do another video recreating this exact image with the colours of your choice and see how it turns out!!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻
I swear, this month went by so fast and I didn't get to do as much as I wanted, but hey... it's never a bad time for mermaids, so I'm sure I'll keep doing mermaid stuff even outside of this month.
Lol I the "it offended my eyes" bit sent me hahaha. Adding the extra colors to the hair helped so much! Bringing the black and white in really popped it off!! Super fun and cool project. Great work!!
😂😂😂 The color generator really just tortures everyone and while I feel your pain cuz I went through it, I'm also dying laughing. But seriously it came out amazing and I love her.
Right?! So many comments were telling me that I should have used a different method of picking colors. Like no... This was the challenge. If Rose had to endure it, then I must as well. Hahaha. Brutal. 🤣
💖GORGEOUS MERMAID!!!!!💦 I've done something similar to this challenge, but instead of paint, I used colored pencils and I colored in a coloring book. I would decide what part of the picture I wanted to color first then I closed my eyes and picked a random color for my pencil case. My pictures would turn out crazy yet colorful and beautiful. Your mermaid definitely turned out Beautiful and the random colors did turn out cohesive. 🧜♂️🩵🧜♀️💙🧜HAPPY MERMAY FROM A FELLOW MERMAID LOVER!!!!!🧜💙🧜♀️🩵🧜♂️
The throw away colors actually look great though. The little dashest of that mustady color really help enhance the skulls. You are so freaking amazingly talented. You come up with the best compositions. I think you got lucky with your colours. Rose kept getting the same colours over and over. You lucked out with the green for her fin and the grey for the rocks.
Since it's Mermay, it fits the theme so we'll. Honestly loving the look, good to see yt recommending me art channels to follow. Would love to see more randomized content, I do love the element of surprise.
That worked out very well!! For a moment I lost hope when you painted your beautiful green cave dark (it looked so mysterious when it was green) and the mermaid looked like a demon.......but you really saved it all at the end. Super💚💚💚💚
Yayyyy! Extra upload means an extra treat for us!😊 All things considered, it really came out nice! I agree on doing this again with no color restrictions!
I'm glad you don't see it. 😂 And I agree - it really came together in the last couple of minutes.... Luckily. This one definitely had an EXTRA LONG ugly phase. Hahahaha.
Hi Ashley - maybe it's not a great app - the random thing... there must be other ones. Did you ever see Sarah Renee Clark's color oxes? They are great for this kind of gaming... expensive though but have a look!!! Thx for the video.
Yeah, I just used this one because it's the same one that Rose used in her challenge. I have seen the color box, I feel like that would defeat the purpose of this challenge a little though, because the cards have color schemes that already look good together. It's not really random, and you know al of the colors beforehand. Like if I knew all of the colors I was going to get ahead of time, I would have chosen to put them in different spots - where they worked best, you know?
I know you like creepy stuff, and if you like mermaids, you should read the mermaids' description of them in the book "into the drowning deep." It been weird, but I remember some the basic. Their body was skinny and sunken in, their hair was seaweed with posion sea bugs in it, sharp teeth, dark eyes, eel like tail that gave off a goo that help them move on the ships they attack and the hair glow with little lights like the angler fish. Even if you don't draw it, look up the book. It is pretty good ❤❤
I love mermaids. I live by the beach where they have manatees and weeki wachchee springs which is the home of the mermaids of the Gulf Coast of course. I also love this color challenge idea too.
I love DOING them... the challenge of having to think on your toes, but the perfectionist in me usually has some sort of issue with the finished product. Hahaha. The inner voice going "It would have looked so much better if I had picked the colors!"
She turned out nicely! 🧜♀️ Maybe next time, you should try a 5 color challenge from marker or pencil colors. You can mix colors to create more colors, and the physical choices prevent duplicates. You could still do paint to make the piece?
I definitely want to do like the 3 color challenge at some point, but for this one I was literally just doing the same challenge Rose did, since she challenged me to do it.
