WHOA! The constant shifts from calm vocals and a D&B beat to heavy Punk/Metal style is really awesome! This is such a unique take on the song and I loved every second! Great job, guys!!
just love Audra's low tunes... And arrangement for this song was so creative! Liked very much the contrasting rythmics and the multiple voices. Great job!
Paint It Black is one of my core favourite songs and having heard some completely woeful renditions I'm always apprehensive when presented with a new one. I needn't have been in this case. Different enough to not be just another cover but not so different as to lose the power that the original delivers.
@@paleofolk you know who else arbitrarily defined what is and isn't art, that's right, hitler's teachers, who got him rejected from art school also the entire nazi party but yknow the bigger deal is hitler got rejected from art school and that's pretty fucked up, if his art wasn't good how was he supposed to improve it without going to school for it, doesn't make sense yknow.
Nicely done. Way to make it your own while still honoring the original. As a little kid in the 70s, growing up in the 80s, and seeing the Stones in concert in the 90s, I really appreciate the respect you and a few other bands and artists( most of whom you have collaborrated with) have for the music I grew up with. For me and other Gen Xers it is like having the best of both worlds( inadvertent VAN HALEN reference). Thank you.
You folks just go from strength to strength. One of my favourite songs and you've given it new life with a rousing cover. Audra looking stunning as always and the whole group pulling off the 90's goth aesthetic beutifully, giving very Garbage vibes. 🖤
First off..... The woman singing is a goddess... She is gorgeous. Her voice is fantastic and this song is one of my favorites so I didn't know what to think but wow this cover is amazing. 10/10 I shall be listening to it alot
Brave move! The original is, as said before, an iconic classic, so just repeating it would have been a failure. But instead of that you made your own, different version of it. You see the foundation that The Rolling Stones made, but you built on it and out came something worthwhile. Kudos!
Wonderful job of doing a cover on this classic song! Audra's voice is amazing! Sam drum beats are awesome! Matt's guitar is awesome! Ryan has a great baseline!
You know the feel of loving an old mustang from the 80s and u tune it up to make it new and even better ? That's exacly what you DO !!! you added more artistic touch, modern side and energy. Matt my bro your solos are FFFFIIIIRE !!! You guys are pure ART , et je pèse mes mots quand je vous dis ça
Audra, every time I hear your register when you sing vs. when you speak to the camera, it sends shivers up my spine. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world 🟥🍁🟥
Love the way you guys covered this Stones classic and made it your own ,, with your unique style.... you guys are so talented.... really good and thank you,,,,, continued great success always !!!!!!
I don't think I have heard anyone with this much control of their lower voice register. Amazing redefining of this classic, it does have a F211 workover. Videos are getting more intricate too. Love your work. G,day from Australia.
Love it first Rolling Stones song i heard and it’s a perfect time for me cause one of my family members died a couple of days ago and this is how i feel and it played in my head on loop today thanks guys
i'm a huge fan of random covers. especially modernized metal versions of any song. this is one of those songs i've heard 10 million times. i loved the original and i know every word of it and all that stuff. but that was years ago. i forgot about this song. i can't remember the last time i've heard it. so here i am, scrolling youtube looking at random cover songs and i see just the words "paint it black" and OH MY GOD SOMEBODY FREAKING DID IT I GOTTA LISTEN TO IT RIGHT GOSH DARN NOW. y'all did a great job. that was good. this one was just different enough, but also close enough, to the original version for me to call it a modernized version of "paint it black." well done.
So enjoy your cover of classic rock songs! Well done on this, your own unique rendition of "Paint it Black" Two classics I think would be up your alley: "Radar Love" and "Behind Blue Eyes".
Saved it to my favs before I even watched/listened to it...FIrst to Eleven is beyond AWESOME!!!...listened to it...YES...Watched/listened to it...YES/YES. Please come to Oklahoma.
This song is a monument. This one, Fortunate Song or White Rabbit are sond made me automatically think about Vietnam war, the movies about and his veterants.
What a good job they have done; Although it is very difficult on occasions to try to interpret a cover of a song that is iconic, in addition to not only the band, the same soloist, legends of music; but the musical arrangement and the interpretation that they made gives an air of modern freshness to this cover; of course it's my opinion .... congratulations🎤⚘⚘🌷🌷💐💐🌹🌹❤❤👌🎶🎵🎼🎸👏👏👏👌👌👌💯✔🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
