Hedda Sterne is an American female painter artist who made artwork for over 60 years. Hedda Sterne paintings cover a wide range of subject. I show you a number in this video. When I paint like Hedda Sterne I show you what from my surroundings inspires me. Hedda Sterne artist is one of the Irascibles eighteen, modern artists, who protested in the 1950-s about being left out of an major exhibition about American Art. She belonged to the American Expressionists but also made different artwork. I will show you how I work with different materials and techniques like continuous line drawing easy. In almost all my videos I use with Winsor&Newton Galeria acrylics, if not, I will say so in the video.
Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.
