What is the ratio for mixing cold wax /to paint. Thanks

If you are using a hard-angel you can mix 1.1 On canvas reduce to 25% cold wax 75% oil paint.

Cleanup is easy using vegetable oil to get most of the cold wax and oil off If is stubborn or has dried solvent or Citra-solve works wonders.

Hi Pat. Can I use cold wax on watercolor paper?

Yes you can! I have found the 300lb paper to work best. As it is absorbent you will want to gesso it first. You can also seal your watercolour paintings with a layer of cold wax so they can be displayed without glass.
