Absolutely stunning, Niaz!! I desperately try to emulate your style... 😂 I'm hoping that it will be like my dad said while teaching me the guitar decades ago.. . "all of a sudden, without realising how, your fingers will form the chords and you'll just "get it"... So I'll keep on practicing, and one day, one day!!
@@niazhannanwatercolors Thank you Niaz...being afraid of making mistakes was a stumbling block... Now j just practice and let it flow.. Each exercise is a learning experience 🙏 Have a great weekend 👍
This is an excellent tutorial to see the value of tone rather focusing on color or even detail for that matter. I am going to do it again because I can see the impact of 'darks'. I find myself hesitating to add too much dark for fear of ruining it but I can clearly see the difference when I do. It is like the contrast in tone invites you into the painting. Thank you for this Niaz!
Bellissimo e interessante tutorial ,si puo apprendere tanto dai differenti toni di grigio che usi. Nella descrizione potresti inserire notize riguardo alla bellissima selezione musicale in sottofondo ? Saluti dall'Italia. 🤗
Im fascinated with the way you sketch in mostly a continuous line. It must be why your figures are loose and there’s always movement in your paintings that I like so much. I’m practicing this A LOT and if I ever learn to get proportions correct while sketching this way, it’ll be one of the strongest things Ive learned from you. I imagine I should master proportions first before trying to develop this (?). You wouldn’t happen to have any tips for this would you?…I’m a retired photographer and have always been self-taught, so I’m in the dark as far as concepts taught in formal art classes. I love how you see things so I hope to learn cityscapes from you.
To paint along it would be helpful to have a reference image, some info on brush sizes and types, and pigments. For instance are you using white in your grey mixes…. It looks like you do but your mixes never look murky. I am learning a lot from how you use a wide range of values.
I agree. I would subscribe but he doesn’t go over paints and brushes. Even if he just puts descriptions in his info I can deal with that and as far as The horrible music I can mute that at least.
@@LaymansEpoch you are watching the videos though and getting the benefit of seeing very good content made by a good creator. I subscribed anyway in recognition that nowhere else do I see this type of content, I can only think of one other really loose watercolourist, and his style is completely different, more about pen and wash than this artists work. I was making a request not a criticism, subscribing is small reward and if you are no longer interested you can unsubscribe.
I feel in a good way, that this paint it's a little bit different of others paints maybe is the composition, but I always love your videos. Big hug from Brazil
This one has alot of buildings for me. I tried a rainy scene with fog buildings a person, umbrella, stop sign, then I put a truck in it🤨 the truck is parked on the sidewalk😳 and flying up into the air 😂 should have drawn lines to a vanishing point. These street scenes are torturing me 😱😆 what was I thinking a truck !😅
