There are barely any videos on RU-vid regarding using the Ultimate Fusion paints so I'm glad that you have shared your experience with them and you are very skilled! I am interested in using these paints, I painted solely with Genesis Heat Set Paints right from when I began reborning years ago and I wanted to try air dry so after a long break and after selling my heat set supplies, I am prepared to try again with air dry paints 😊

Hi thank you for sharing, I'm thinking about buying these paints as I'm not getting on with rebourn FX by macpherson and crafts they make my kit tacky and shiny ..

Nice. The only time these paints came out shiny with me is when I did an AA baby. And I probably put the paint on entirely to thick. I'd like to make another in the near future and change how I painted the last. I still order the ultra matte from MacPherson as I like the way it leaves a texture on the vinyl. They have been out of stock for a very long time. So I just been using the sealer from ultimate fusion paints and adding an air dry matte from hobby lobby. Happy reborning! ❤️

For ultimate fusion do you need to add surface prep with this paint like other air dries or do you just paint after cleaning the kitchen with soapy water ?

You just paint the kit after you wash it. No prep required

Can you please tell me how many drops of water to 1 drop of paint. I am autistic and ml and measurements confuse me. But if someone says 1 drop paint to 22 drops of water (just an example) my brain understands that better. I primarily work with the waterborne brand and love it but wanted to try a set of uf a artist sold me second hand. Thanks in advance

If you use a pipette, the first line is one mil (20 drops). If your counting drops it goes as follow. For layers I use 1 drop of paint to 30 drops of water. For color layers I use; red 1 drop of paint to 100 drops of water, yellow 1 drop of paint to 250 drops of water, blue 1 drop of paint to 100 drops of water. Mottling 1 drop of paint to 10 drops of water, add a few more drops of water if this seems to thick for you. Veins 2 drops of paint to 10 drops of water. Creases 1 drop of paint to 6 drops of water. I always use blend flow in my mixes. 1 drop as it helps smooth out the texture of your paint. You don't have to do this step if you don't want to. Thanks for your question. Happy reborning!

I really really appreciate you breaking down all this into "drops" for me. For some reason it's the only thing my brain can understand. Lol
