Patty-I have the whole Kuretake Gansai paint collection. I love watching people work with these paints. They are amazing. I loved that you used lilac as the initial wash. The result was amazing.
Patty, thank you for your comment! The paints are so lovely; I really enjoy working with them. The lilac has come to be one of my favorites from the palette. Thank you again! 🤍
hi 👋 I just came across your video & I had the same color set but never thought of having the lilac as base color before. Thank you for the inspo! Also I’m so happy that I’m not the only one who pick up the paint not from the middle, but from the side 😝.
I'm new. I'm buying the Kuretaki tambei watercolor rectangles with paint in them in a box of 48. What in the world do people put these in? Most watercolor cubes come in a full whatever or a half or something else, but they are squares. The Kuretaki are rectangles. Is there a tray/palette storage whatever you call it that can hold the rectangles?? You don't just keep them in the box, right? HELP! Thank you!
Hi, @demelzapoldark3035! Welcome to the world of Kuretake watercolors!! I also own the 48 set and, frankly I keep them in the lovely box, I keep the colors I'm working with on my work table. I searched around, and could not find a rack/holder like you might find for other watercolors. I will keep my eyes peeled. If you find something, please share! TBH the box works fine for me. Let us know, if you find something worthwhile for storage. xx
