This is my most heart moving prayer song. As a means of strengthening my soul and carrying the truths further, every chance I make I play it along water of McGowan Springs and Celilo Falls drowned, not dead. As well as Klickitat, Deschutes, Columbia, Hood, White Salmon, Washougal, Sandy, Clackamas, Willamette and Nehelam Rivers. I feel thankful for John Trudell and so much more. ♥️🙏♥️

thank you for this. I discovered John many years ago when I had rabbit ears on my tv before they went to digital everything. .. watched a documentary of him on PBS when it was cool. those days are long gone...

iamearthbornami The song is called "Paint Yourself" and is a collaboration between John Trudell and Robbie Robertson. It is a song used in the documentary "Trudell" but I am not sure if it has been released otherwise by either JT or Robbie Robertson. For all I know I might have it sitting right on the shelf. I'll look through the JT collection and get back to you if I find it on any of his releases.
