Great video, I think u should possibly try to add a headliner at some point as I think it would make the interior look a little better, even if u don't decide to add a headliner your still doing a good job at restoring your honda acty truck
Honestly, you should have left that "crud" on the door and re-installed the water/moisture shield. It's there for a purpose! I suggest that if you ever have a reason to take the door cards off again, re-install a barrier where your old ones used to be... Mea Culpa edit: I see that you're installing what looks like dynamat (sound & vibration dampening) - as long as that's waterproof where the factory plastic was, it should suffice!
A plastic adhesion promoter is needed before you spray the vinyl paint. If you don't, you'll find yge vinyl paint will scratch off easily, or in some cases start to flake off in patches. It is critical to fully clean the surface with mineral spirits or wax/grease cleaner, then use the primer, then vinyl paint. I speak from experience on this subject.
