It's amazing how you never make a mistake or make any alterations. You simply paint each area perfectly and then move onto the next. Do you do any preparatory sketches and practice paintings before you do this, or do you just dive right in and nail it in one shot?

Hi Michael. Wonderful as always. Thank you for taking the time and effort to share with us. Quick question...where do you aquire your reference photos? Is it a paid service or some other source? They look relatively unprocessed. Most of the online resources feature photos that are heavily processed and unnatural looking. Perhaps you could speak to this in a future video. Thanks again.

The more that I watch MJS; the more that I recognize that he is excellent at a few things, but not excellent at everything. I say that in the sense that it almost becomes predictable what he is going to do in each painting. But then, maybe that is true for every artist. People do what people are good at, and a person cannot be good at everything. That is why I enjoy watching an artist on RU-vid, for awhile. But gradually, I lose interest and want to watch a different artist.
