I like how you start off with a lot of painting in the background, so you peek the interest right off the bat. Very nice reflection in the waves. Interesting that you add clouds later in the sky. Congrats!

I love night skies. So pretty. I do want to say that I really like how you describe in detail about the brushes. What you use how to use them etc. I some times get stuck ck on the whole brush thing. So thank you. Also liked how you went into detail about the blending Happy painting

Night skies are so amazing. They are always different depending on the lighting that is reflected off the moon. Also the stars are never the same and shadows are never the same. I loved this Ryan. Thank you for sharing this with us. I enjoy your 10 minute painting. I had to laugh when in my recommended for me section had a Bob Ross video and one of yours. LOL I wonder how they choose these things.

Hey i had very basic colors. My blue isnt that electric as yours but the painting still looks nice and it was my first one. I was just wondering if ur acrylic paint was kind of thick? For example when u started to do the light around the moon ur paint looked thick and i couldn't do this light with brush but with the sponge. Well i believe u use better ones ohh well i just starting so in future i my get better quality. Any way thanks for the video, i have stop the video many times😃it took me over two hours but it is worth it.

Nice work thx for sharing. Do you have a lesson on reflections on water ? Do reflections narrow towards front of the painting or widen? This sort of questions. Thx
@RyanORourkeArtist

Most of the moonlit videos on the channel have reflections in them, I recommend checking them out! I often make reflections larger in the foreground as perspective makes them appear smaller in the distance. Hope this helps!

If you don’t have a black canvas, is it okay to just paint a white canvas to make it black?

Hey there! ^^ I hope you or anybody else can help me here... Recently I've got a school project and for that I would like to paint a lake in from of Yin and Yang. A round lake and such and the moon being the white dot and all that, but I don't know how to paint a lake from above, looking straight down at it.. also i would like the water to look as if it was moving, but I don't know how.. any tips?

I see a picture of your small canvases so yeah you could do painting 10 minutes but what if you wanted to use like an 8 x 10 canvas or 11You’re sometimes my words don’t make sense it’s because I’m visually impaired and I use the voice over. Anyway happy painting and have a great day
