So this is the first step no layers first ? I love what your doing nice been watching 100s of videos first time I've seen undertones first I think I'm going to start my kit with your method so is this step one on blank kit
I prep the vinyl first by washing all parts with dawn dish soap and warm water. then I add surface prep over top and letting dry for an hour or more..there is a video under my painting that shows the process
@Ivy i use 2 coats of ultra matte sealer. Some paints don't need to be sealed like ultimate fusion . But I still seal which ever one I use regardless . The paint pretty much adheres itself though if your using Golden Air or ultimate fusion .

So glad i came across your video, its so easy to follow (ive watched tons and ended up very confused) do you wash your kit 1st of use anything else to clean before you start?
Hey there ! I wash the kit with warm water and dawn dish detergent ( blue dawn ). After that if you like you can also wipe the kit down using rubbing alcohol just to ensure there are no oils or dirt on the kit . After washing the kit , I use surface base primer from hunny buns reborn supply to prep for kit first :)

@@DIVADOLLARS I mainly use a starter mix that I create with yellow, brown ,red and parchment and then do the primary method. I will make a video on it when I do another lighter tone baby :)
