FINALLY! After searching for so long! Someone actually explains it perfectly! Instead of someone just going at it with a camera! Great video!

This is an awesome teaching session. I have so many problems with my clouds. I always drew them vertical or horizontal instead of a smooth circular motion. Thanks also for the footnotes and differences in transparencies. I also like the darker blue so that my clouds can stand out more. Now I will not use the fan brush to make my clouds anymore; this is so much more simpler. Thank you once again for an awesome painting tutorial.

I agree! Clouds are problematic for me also.

Ryan you are just getting better and better with your teaching techniques. I find the instructional pop ups showing the ratio of paint to water very helpful. Also the directional arrows over your painting. It just clicks in my head and it's like oh yeah! I've been following you awhile now. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the great cloud tutorial! A quick question: Do you not worry about under binding when using a high water to paint ratio?
@RyanORourkeArtist
@RyanORourkeArtist 7 лет назад
I've been using Liquitex acrylic paint for about a decade now and I've never had an issue. I do prefer the Liquitex BASICS line which is a heavy bodied paint.. which probably helps the binding. However, If you're using a cheap/thin paint it could be an issue. I hope that helps!

Sir can you please tell me which kind of brush you have used to draw the clouds ?? I love your paintings really awesome !!!!😊

I generally like to use round headed brushes for my clouds as they tend to create a more feathered, softer edge :)
