I love the way you find beauty in everyday things that most take for granted. BTW your Color and Light book is great read and reference. Thank you for the video which is loaded with tips. I really enjoyed the initial wet wash that gave you time to add the darker background that looked like a watercolor wash. Then at the end all the adjustments you made for the light and dark, and the chalk to add a little haze. Essie

I’ve been very inspired by art you make and the depth you put in them, have any tips on making depth and dimension in paint? And also I’ve been struggling to get light or lighting onto objects like houses or trees and it frustrates me sometimes but I do get through of what I’m painting and sometimes I like what I create afterwards.
