I love the brush work applying the oil paints. I do enjoy working with them as well. But havent quiet mastered it yet. Thanks for providing such an ongoing supply of inspirational videos. Really appreciated !

Superb work! Most instructive and helpful. It was a nice touch to include the bottle of thinner in the beginning and end of the video, so that it is possible to follow how You work with the thinner. A question, You have labeled which work You do on day 1 and 2. Is it possible to do all the work You do on, for example day 1, or do You take longer pauses in order to get the paint to set, within the day?

Thank you very much. I mostly work every day. I'm only at home with my family at the weekend. The first layer is usually ready for the next layer the next day. I rarely let the model "rest" for a few days (over the weekend) and work on another project.

As a novice with oils I would have loved to seen how to mixed the different shades.

Really am impressed with your work and video sharing. Oils really make a figure come alive. Have a suggestion on oil selection or have you ever tried Mars Brown (A346 Old Holland) ? Unique characteristic is that it does not go gray as other browns with white. Cheers
