Mr. Stick, When you paint your 310, you have my permission to use the old paint scheme and colors. 😊

Lose the music; what a headache generator

Hi Steve. Yeah, a few people have not liked my choice of background audio. The Zhangu "war drum" sounds were chosen deliberately, as this is a battle that goes on for more than 2 months....every centimeter of every surface on the plane. It is quite a battle, requires hundreds of man-hours, and comes at a considerable expense......and it is quite a feeling of *victory* when the entire process is completed!

Maximuspadus, Some of this "video" was in fact video, but much of it was simply still photos that Joe D. took during the process and sent to me. I'm 2.5 hours away from the paint shop (by car), so I couldn't get there more than once per week to shoot actual video. Thus, without some kind of "music" background, there would be a lot of dead space in this production. And, of course, I realize that everybody has their own tastes when it comes to background music. I like drums... :-) Thanks for watching. Arlen (Oh, and your cost estimate was just a little bit low..)

Fair enough, I know it can be a victory, as an ex aircraft mechanic, I can appreciate that and the hard work that goes into it. I used to be part of a team that stripped down Vickers VC-10's that had been sat on an airfield for years. We stripped off basically every nut, bolt and fasterner and rebuilt them from the ground up from old passenger VC-10's into new VC-10 tanker aircraft for our Royal Air Force (RAF)

David, .....interesting phraseology there; the complicated, many-step, and prolonged process involved in a quality airplane paint job is kinda like going to battle! Gracias..
