WOW Sooo BEAUTIFUL YOU just saved a dresser being dumped in the trash.... SERIOUSLY.... I am moving and thought I would just toss it away... but after SEEING what you just did here... I will SAVE IT... Thank YOU so much for sharing this BEAUTIFUL Video... WOW
Right?? I feel the same way. Lol!! I have 2 dressers (they’re my two oldest sons) that I need to do and update. They’re brown and just need some life in them. 😂
That looks great! Though, unfortunately, I can't truly appreciate the colour... 😔. You know your colourblind when green is browny grey 🤣🤣. Great work though!
I like the colour. I'm changing all my furniture from dark to light, but maybe a statement piece in something like this khaki olive could work in my colour scheme. Maybe the rosewood entry hall table...
Very nicely done. I did some restoring years and years ago 1980's and early 2000 even restored some baby strollers. Sewing new fabric covers for baby car seat covers. If you restore baby furniture you have a lot of work to get it up to date. Safety regulations changed in the 1990's like the slats on a crib had to be closer together so that a child could not get their heads through the spacing. As long as the strapping on the car seat is up to date you can take it apart and sew a custom cover. I also do custom embroidery on baby car seat covers.
I used an oil primer on an stained inside drawer using brush. Then I used a mini roller to paint and it took 10 coats with oil paint to cover the brush strokes. It didn't! Hated it, but it was ok so left it. I painted it silver.
I like this. I haven’t made over any furniture but I got a free chest of drawers that I’ve been wanting to do something with. It’s too 80’s like and I don’t want that. I think I’ve been over thinking.
Your work is absolutely beautiful and so well put together. Idk if you'll get this or if you've already answered this question before but, What got you into working on furniture?
Protect The Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Hello from The Atlantic Provinces in Canada 🇨🇦. This is such an inspiration ! I will see what I can do with my already revamped furniture. This is a much better look. Protect The Ukraine. 🇺🇦
It literally is real wood, it's from IKEA. It is made from light soft wood, but wood none the less. How can you not identify that when you are dealing with furniture?
I literally is MDF! I can identify it and it’s MDF! I know because I bought it (not from IKEA), I assembled it, I’ve fixed it twice in the 12 years that I’ve owned it and now I’ve painted it. Don’t comment on shit you have no clue about
Do you use something to seal the paint? Hoping you'd share on that. I tried lacquer, it turned my paint yellowish tinted...but there's got to be something that is useful.
