I really enjoy watching you paint, even at the beginning stages where the flowers are just forming, I can tell how beautifully they will turn out. You just have a knack for adding the right amount of details with the flowers and greenery to fill out the painting yet not make it too crowded. Just lovely. Keep up the wonderful work!

I just got that book and am really enjoying it. I think that publisher (Page Street) has put out several really nice watercolor books recently and I now watch specifically for their new ones. I wish a lot of the instructional books out there would do revised editions and update the paint recommendations. Many of them recommend pigments that are now extinct or known to be fugitive, or recommend a lot of heavy metal paints (I've weaned myself off most, but haven't been able to give up cobalt blue or nickel azo yellow so far) Beautiful cards Helen!

Gorgeous! I really like the droopy green ones. My favourite bit is the leaves on the centre pic’s purple flower (echium?). I love how dark the green is and the way it merges with the purple. It adds stronger contrast to the pic, which I like because it’s lively. I changed my insta name btw to be more similar to here.
