That's amazing. I'd love to build models like that, but I am incapable of super glueing 2 hydrogen atoms together and then painting them 3 shades of blue.
Well...I must say that this is a great effort to show us this masterpiece! The level of quality of your work equals easily this incredible kit from Flyhawk.Thank you for sharing! I got this kit a few days ago,and I am still in shock. ..forget about Trumpeter kits! This is the next level! I hardly wait to see my kit complete. ..and what a day will be! ☆☆☆☆☆
Incredible! Learned so much from watching your work! Wish I would’ve seen this video before painting the battleship I took on a while back. Ironically, after careful prepping and priming, I too had my red paint pull away in virtually the same area. I wish I would’ve handled it like you did. Thank you so much for letting us see how a true craftsman makes his art! Really appreciate it!
I've been building 700 scale ships with photo etched parts for years and wanted to grab this kit for a quite a while but after seeing how fine the details are, I think I'll have to put the plan off first- it'll probably be gathering dust due to a lack of confidence on my part to even start work on it. Excellent job done on it though, hats off to you for pulling off such a wonderful job
Let other kits have dust on them. You should try this kit. best quality I had ever seen. =) (not easy to build though..) And I thank you for the compliment.
@@andreferro4618 Yes! Flags are great. I probably will not feel such a piece of foil on my finger. I will not see, not bend.(( The rest is also a great job. 13:20 You did not deceive me! I know what a ship is at sea. And where it is necessary to paint with red lead.))
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! It‘s so perfect and inspiring me. I have the same model in 1:350 and now I know how to paint it! But first I have to get a good air brush set with compressor. Because I am a beginner it‘s difficult for me to find the right things. So me ship will have to wait til then... Best greetings, Boris 🇨🇭
It was great to see you build this ship. As others say it looks like a 1/350 model. As my Shakey hands no longer allow me to build ships it is nice to watch an expert do it.
Wow ... This kit has more details than most 1/350 Kits. And you did a wonderful job to it! Very Impressed! Its a shame that you only have 400 subs...i hope your channel will grow big time in the near future. all the best and greetings from germany
Thank you for the compliment. =) This kit is very impressive. I had never seen this detailed ship kit before. the number of subs is growing, it is already more than 450 =)
For the planting with different colors you also can use good quality aquarel pencils or even better, Polychromos pencils ( Polychromos also can be diluted with terpentine ) with an outstanding range of colors. Wish you the best from Germany !
I’m 100% getting this after I finish all the stacked up models I have lol Edit: also, is no one going to talk about how much time it must have taken to mask the fricken deck on that thing!!!??
Concerning adding the railings before you mask with tac-putty. How many problems did you have pulling off the putty? How many times did you bend that railing just handling as you build and paint?I'm considering building a model again, a ship this time.
Beautiful. How long did you wait between coats of camo on the hull? I know blu tac is gentle on paint but how quick can you use it after airbrushing? Your model is gorgeous.
About 5 days. I painted as fast as I can. I knew the blu tack is not harmful to the painted surface but I didn't want to take any chance. Thank you for the compliment =)
These vids are awesome and I love the WOWS background music. Can you please do a tutorial video on applying photoetch pieces on 1/700 scale warships? And also tips on like cutting them from the sprues and bending to shape etc
Thank you for watching =) There are assembly part videos on my channel, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tkRofAhKknU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-skCfZ6QcuTU.html I hope those satisfy your need.
Hmm I thought most of essence of my techniques are there. Did you see the assembly part video? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tkRofAhKknU.html
Amazing job i Love the Prince of wales and his brother king George v How you build the wooden blocks stand ? You have the patterns ? Hello from Brazil good morning
Great job and beautiful work on your Prince of Wales. Your Yamato video is awesome. Amazing skills you have. Can you please tell me how much PSI do you use for your airbrush when priming and coating?
Thank you for the compliment.=) my pressure gauge says 10 kg/cm^2, and I have no idea how much PSI is 10kg/cm^2. and my gauge is not a very accurate one.
Fantastic! I'm a beginning modeler and am in the middle of my first 1/700 kit - a fairly simple Hasegawa Myoko...I spent 2 hours on masking the deck and still got some bleed through - I think I needed to use smaller pieces where possible- your "Sweet Mother..." moment let me know that even expert modeler like yourself have oopsies so I shouldn't beat myself up - the panel line applicator is great...I learned A LOT from this one - thank you and very well done!
Thank you for the compliment =). I spent 4-5 days to mask the deck but it still got through.. I correct them with my brush. there were lot of little screw-ups and retakes not on the video. "Sweet Mother" was too big to cover it up. =)
This has left me Speechless. Have just got myself a 1/700 HMS Repulse and have decided that there is no way on earth i would be able to build it with my shaking hands.! Got a 1/300 Repulse on order now. Great video and inspiring modeling and Talent.
Boy, this camo pattern, put on by the British, reminds me more of a cruise liner in the Caribbean. I think I like the old ww1 high contrast cubist thing was better. Maybe the Brits wanted to lull their opponents into daydreams of being in heaven, living on a glorious Caribbean hideaway, and all my sexy servants give me whatever libation I wish for. Keep them distracted in the north Atlantic.
Great model, well done. The music is for the British Army and not the Navy. The music you have chosen is for the British Grenadiers which are soldiers and not sailors.
@@EbroinSong 不必那么客气,我本人有一个1993年购入的日本田宫原装1:350武藏号战列舰模型,只是简单拼装了一下。要是和您的制作水平一样就更加好了! Ebroin Song doesn't have to be so polite, I personally have a Japanese Tamiya original 1:350 Musashi battleship model purchased in 1993, just a simple assembly. It would be even better if you are at the same level as your production!
Beautiful! Congratulation on a great work! My only object is the use of the March of Royal Grenadiers as the last bit of music...wouldn't be better to hear "Hearts of Oak" or "Rule Britannia"?
Absolutely beautiful work on this kit! I purchased this kit when they released it, but I will hold off on building it since my modeling skills aren't up to the brilliance of the kit. I'll get a few more waterline kits under my belt first. However, thank you for the tips and the inspiration. I've subscribed and look forward to your future builds.
Thanks, I normally paint railings after I put them on the ship, but It is OK to paint before put them. I normally use airbrush to paint them. And I use brush to paint when the railing's paint is been scratched out.
