I've been watching your videos since day one, and you never cease to inspire me. You're gracious to apologize, but you don't need to. I learned very early in life that you can't please everyone, nor should you try. The color is gorgeous. I am an avid gardener in Southern California. You did a great job on the window boxes. They are lovely. Take care.

I like to think intimate rather than small of your garden. This is the sweetest, coziest, most manageable space. I could see spring luncheons, summer gilling, wine and cheese in the fall. Also your window boxes with the ivy are gorgeous. The ivy will remain such a great base for bulbs, then mini pumpkins, then oversize shiney christmas orbs. Perfection! I am sure passersby must look down and smile.

Cold days in the garden working are the BEST! Having the right waterproof pants, shoes and jacket works wonders. I bought purple cineraria to spruce up my dog Daffy's grave. And I bought loads of potted tulips, daffodils and hyacinths for indoors.

Actually, I've heard quite a few people talking about how since the first of the year, it felt like they were always feeling bad. I had a cold and sinus issue for three weeks in January. Loved how the colour transformed your bedroom. I usually shy away from dark colours but I am so impressed and inspired by the outcome. Your ivy I believe is Needlepoint Ivy, smaller than English Ivy a perfect "spiller." Window boxes are beautiful, not a lot of work and are at their showy best when they contain 1. a spiller - falling over the front, 2. a filler - a shorter plant than the thriller, and 3. a thriller - usually, but not always a colorful flower. At first I thought the bedroom color would be too dark, but actually looks great.
