I love that you think the way you do. I took that thought process when drawing my eyebrows, they always come out pretty now because I see them before I do them. I need to expand my mind to do that with life like you. Good job mamas!
@@dana102083I definitely agree, not to shit on the OP - if she likes it that’s great - but my god, it looks really really bad. Nothing like marble and it looks like a kids painted it (making marble look like marble is very very difficult)
You did an awesome job on your counters, and let the haters hate, they will never be positive!! Just keep on living your best life, your a great DIYer thx for sharing ❤
It’s all right. It starts there. I watch them videos then get brave and jump to projects. Some are nice and some are still undone and some are not so nice. Oh well, whatever. I’ll get to those one day lol
Please please PLEASE WEAR A RESPIRATOR WHEN WORKING WITH RESIN and keep the kitchen well ventilated and keep kids and animals out of the kitchen. It can be really toxic. Please stay healthy. ❤
It's according to what kind of resin. Some are more toxic and you should wear a respirator but most you just need air cross flow with fresh air coming from the windows.
Resin is "safe" to use as long as you don't cut into it or damage it. Resin is toxic when it is mixed together and pored. The fumes it gives off can damage your lungs. The clear coat she put on helped protect the resin.
I would be livid to buy a house that had counter tops painted…great with the seal…:but I still would be livid And epoxy…wait for it chip…and the smell of it lingers even after fully cured…I work with epoxy and I got pieces years old that still have whiff of it.. Just….please…be careful….it’s so easy for something like that to chip, and before it’s seen or noticed, it’s already caused damage (potentially internally to someone from getting in food.) It really looks great, unfortunately looking great doesn’t mean it is great. Please careful and safe….don’t want this to twist into something bad down the road for ya or family. You’d never forgive yourself
The exact reason people dont like to drink out of plastic, because the chemicals leech into the food, not to mention if you cut into it you will get chips of paint and shellac in your food. But HEY! it looks good and thats all that matters right? LOL!
This really turns out fun when you put vanes of glitter that follow the grey lines. You can add glitter anytime. Just apply the glitter to your existing countertop then epoxy coat over the top one more time 👍
Girl I’m not gonna lie…. That looks like absolute trash. Doesn’t look like marble at all whatsoever. It looks like a kid ran they’re dirty dusty Elbows all over the counter
@@KileeRainbow As if your posting for anything else than to gain traction. Welcome to the internet: I’m sure you read the welcome brochure, people are entitled to an opinion, it’s called free speech and ppl are gonna be honest with you wether you like it or not. I have that same type of cabinetry and started peeling off the top as well… I also have that exact same counter top refinishing kit… I haven’t started either projects lol so this is inspiring! Nice job!
If I watch enough RU-vid I can conquer the world😄. I also think most things are figure-out-able. And I love that she doesn't take the comments too seriously.
I was so happy to see your short for multiple reasons- sure the DIY was great- but the bonus was your self description. Apparently we are of the same mindset bc I too am determined to figure out how to do ANYTHING and “figureoutable” was the PERFECT description!!! Even the fails as well as successes! love Love LOVE !!! Subscribing!
