Featuring watercolor techniques such as:
- Wet on wet
- Wet on dry
- Loose watercolor
- Negative painting
- Dry brush
- Watercolor without masking liquid
- Glazing
- Gouache detail (only spattering of some white on 3rd painting)
Supplies:
Watercolor
- I started to run out of many paints and currently I'm using an array of brands from Daniel Smith, Schmincke, Aquarius and Kissho Gansai.
Watercolor brush, just one: Round nr 8 pointy tip, larger ones for applying water etc.
Paper
- 300g cold pressed Saunders Waterford

ahhhh....really enjoyed these. AS far as what I like, leaves, eucalyptus, cedar, ginko - lol - all leaves.

So lovely, with a sense of serenity. I like autumn forests, leaves, acorns, chestnuts and other fruit from the woods which are in season where I live. I also love birds. I bought some skinny tape to try my hand at minis. We'll see! Thank you.

Thank you Francoise! Sounds beautiful! I enjoy autumn scenery, especially the colors around. This, though, changes very fast towards winter here. Autumn forests are great themes, and I was thinking of painting some birds too. That's so lovely, have fun with minis!

@@SVVAJewels I usually make about 8 Christmas cards for my special friends. Last year, I made the Northern Lights on Arches paper, with a row of very dark evergreens in the foreground, and they turned out very well. I am thinking of a bird on a bare branch with some berries. I would like to see that from you!

So lovely to receive a handpainted card, and Northern Lights are great in watercolor. I actually painted a bird on a bare branch with some berries last year :D It was just for myself, but surely a nice topic for a demo too. Thanks for your comment!

This is just beautiful Jewels!!! you do such lovely work!!! We've got plenty of time for winter, so how about more autumn themes. Whatever you decide to do, it will be lovely!!! 😊 Maybe you could slow down the video a bit so we can all do a paint-a-long with you.
