I went to Five Below and found some cheap things to customize & paint on, specifically mystery squishmallows. While squishmallow hunting I picked up some mystery bags so I actually didn't know which squishmallows I'd be working with. I like customizing things and turning them EVIL, it's kind of my thing. In fact I have quite a few series where I do some cheap diys that end up looking pretty chaotic. Other makeover series that I do include anything & everything with Squishmallows, Five Below makeovers, Painting on Fidget Toys, Needle Felting, etc. I hope you like what I made!

I can see why you're so happy with all of these, Loon! They turned out fantastic. I think my favorite is either the nameless witch or the magician, but the biker sloth girl is very cool too!

The second was my favorite, I really like what you did with the goatee adding the extra color really took it up a notch and the button eye. But the other two also came out really cool. Great job 🧌

Your squishmelow series is my top favourite series! the goat design turned out so cool. You definitely out did yourself with that one. My top favourite squishmelow creation you have done is the 2 big foot squishmelows that you combined. Keep up with the good work.

Check out Mariah Elizabeth’s most recent video! She is using *fabric* hot glue & *felt* to customize a squishmellow type creature!! Wonder where she may have been inspired from?🤔🤔 Wish she had credited you if so. -Love your creations in this video. I do wish you would learn a few basic stitches of sewing. Just to broaden your options when it comes to adding certain things which wouldn’t look quite right or simply aren’t possible with fabric hot glue.

I really like how the 3 smaller squishmellows turned out. You don't need to learn to sew, how you do these make overs makes your channel unique. I enjoy watching your squishmellows makeovers.

I actually liked the first one in her original condition... probably because of her color scheme. The biker chick sloth was my favorite makeover--the leather jacket came out great! =)

I also do a lot of “faux sew” when I remake clothes, but I really like the aesthetic of big, statement stitching… So sometimes I also glue fabric on fabric and then add some big punk stitches with large threads (or dental floss if it’s a punk-related item, like crust pants or my battle vest)

I agree the "sheepcorn" came out the best, I absolutely LOVE it. (although I am pretty sure that was an alpaca/llama given the ears and tail) Reminds me of that hit indie game "Cult of the Lamb", seems like that game would be right up your ally with the creepy cute vibes

I was stating to think I'd missed all 3 but I did see them all! Even tried to trick me with the taco and mouse! But I found them! Although you haven't yet learnt to sew, I think it would be so funny for you to try one of those sew kits for beginners and keep all the footage. All us sparklebutts would have a love hate vibe going on 😂😂

I know it's just free music, but that runescape music in the background around the seven minute mark really made my day when I realised why it sounded familiar. Also that goat is great - it just kept getting better, thanks for the fun moments! :) Also that bloody rat dying at the end!

A- fish toy on top of angry sloth at 8:38, toco toy and mouse toy with the makeover squishmallows on the table at 9:47, B- how did you get so many sparkbutt squishmallows, it was like a sparklebutt armageddon, and C- I don’t think you need to rush into sewing because you kinda stag yourself enough as it is with needle felting 😋

Sewing’s definitely a handy skill, but the hot glue seems to work perfectly. Plus the painted stitches give it that nice cartoony vibe

I love how people love to tell other people how to do their art. Constructive criticism is one thing, but there is a big difference from 'Learn to sew' & 'I think the stitches would look cleaner if they were done with thread instead of puff paint'. But again, it's still only the viewer's opinion based on preference. GYL, you keep doing you. As a fellow crafter, I prove. :)

Nicely done Sir! I was taught how to sew on buttons by my father when I told him I was going into the military and he said I would be paying somebody to do it if I did not know how to sew! my Mom was a seamstress and made clothes for our family my whole life, but she was not a good teacher. My Dad cut right to, how to and I learned how to sew buttons, hem pants and sleeves and take patches off and sew new ones on! When I mentioned I thought sewing was for girls or women, he asked if I had ever heard of Tailors? You can earn a good living tailoring peoples clothes and many still do! I know how to sew and I even learned how to use a machine. NOT until after I was married though. Sew or don't, but if you want to do more professional looking work you should consider learning how. Keep those videos comin'!

Have you looked at the wonderful world of fabric pens? I feel they might help you in changing colors or adding markings that arn't dimensional like the felt and paint. I used the black from the brand marvy Uchida to clean up embroidery sometimes. Works amazing, dries pretty quickly and is washable afterwards. Idk I like your avoidance of sewing, as someone that made stuffed animals for a living, your creativity is fun.

They came out great But I got some like these a couple months ago, and I do not like the eyes, I prefer the cute black bitty eyes :D You made the eyes look much better at the end, so I'm on the same page as you with how the eyes look XD
