I prefer painting and mixed media projects on larger surfaces (if you have space) I know not everyone feels this way, but I encourage you to jump right in and give it a try. No mistakes. Endless potential. More room to make a mess=More fun.
This video shows a few of my 48 x 60 in. Paintings. How do you feel about painting big vs. small? Let me know in the comments! I look forward to getting to know you guys & talk art!
Featured Canvases in this video:
‘Tidal Wave’ Mixed Media painting layering digital printed hand-designed satin fabric, screen printing, and finallly acrylic brushwork. Abstract image that can be turned in any direction for a statement in any space.
‘North Woods Dream’ Acrylic, Imaginary North Woods idea.
‘Summer’ Bright sunset-inspired painting inspired from Lutsen, Minnesota. Much of this piece glows in the dark. All Acrylic.
‘Stormy Night’ Textured canvas from layering decorative papers underneath acrylic paint. Yellow paint glows in the dark.
'Efflorescence Fabric' Digitally printed, hand-designed pattern from a previous commission painting, mirrored and stretched over canvas. (Extra Trippy Fine Detail)
‘Palisade Head’ Turquoise dominates this canvas, all acrylic paint with some black drawing ink used for painting tall trees. #nature #abstract
