Loved this video and I had no problem heating you speak. You didn’t sound like you were speaking softly even if you felt you were. Happy to hear you had a really nice vacation!
Beautiful, as always. And my grandson, who is two, also “grumbles” as he’s falling asleep and waking up. Doesn’t want or need anything; just makes noises. 🙂
GREAT BEING IN PORTUGUAL, IT IS ALWAYS LOVELY TO CHANGE AIR, AND NEW CULTURE, I HAVE TRAVELLED A LOT TOO WITH MOTHER. LOVELY FLOWERS TODAY, ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY
Okay…call me crazy but I’ve never thought of using my alcohol and Tombow markers or even all my colored pencils with my watercolor. This could be huge for me! I have full sets of Tombow, Ohuhu, Polychromos, Luminance etc and never combined any of them with my watercolors or gouache. I can’t wait to play today! Thanks so much for the inspiration!!❤
😍 💐 Beautiful and relaxing composition!! And I love mixed media! 😃👍 Shayda, you're looking fantastic, and I'm so happy you are enjoying your holidays in Porto! 😊 Thank you so much for taking us along with you! 😉🙏👏👏👏🤗😘
Just wonderful video! Loved the many levels that you did! Traveling with a two year old is very brave but also wonderful for him, especially when you show him pictures as he gets older, or His early travels. Creating and nurturing as the same time, teaches everyone! Wonderful video, and his squeaky noises filjj LG ed my heart with my own happy memories! We had our first in Korea and she was a passport to adventure, everything loves a baby, all over the world! Enjoy these moments, they so important! Thanks for sharing your expertise, Karen Dirmish, learner
Love the painting to relax.. difficult to do whilst recording but i hope you felt relaxed at the end. Loved the street noise The guy shouting..and i think i heard a dove 🤍 Lots of love to you shayda. Have a great holiday xx
I momma’d 5 and I called it their sleepy song. They nearly all ‘sang’ like Sully. And they all turned out fine. God bless you and your sweet family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful art and life with all of us.
I love this! So fun to see you travelling. I love your new vlog-style where you share anecdotes and share your thoughts as you paint. It's more personal than a simple tutorial.
Thanks for the upload and sharing your vacation. Funny how you tuned out the noises in the background. I’m not a fan of the music..but was enjoying the organic sounds
I enjoyed that very much! It turned out so well and I learned some things I want to remember, especially that every leaf and petal doesn't need to be defined or "complete." I have hard time making my leaves "messy", mine all seem to be the same shape even if I draw them turned. I love the way yours look. I think your palette is beautiful. I've been watching videos on color charting and I think your palette/plate is a LIVING color chart with a visual color mixing guide, no written paint color notes needed!🙂 I didn't notice any noises other than the birds, which made me so glad spring is on the way where I live. I don't know how other viewers feel but I'm content to watch you paint quietly with occasional comments. I don't feel any awkward silence that you seem to worry about.😉❤ I'm happy for your family to get to have a lovely vacation. Thank you for sharing!
Shayda, I understand you want to paint and relax... but learn to rest when your baby sleeps. Your first job as a mother is to take care of yourself. I love the setting... thank you for making this video... watching it was like a miniature vacation for me! 😊🎉
oh so exciting that your going to be on domestika 🤩 I have taken several classes on there and your pallet isn't that bad I have seen many messy pallets on that platform.
❤❤❤ I am definitely going to try to make time to try this. I am hoping to replicate it more accurately. It usually does not happen. Anyway I am probably not going to use colour pencils because I like keeping the "watercolour"/"gouache look" is cool. I prefer keeping my coloured pencils for when I do a marker or textured artwork. It came out so beautifully. I was hoping that you would paint something from the view. Maybe take a picture of the view and paint it when you get back. 🎉 well done getting the pencils 🎉. I do not think it would have been worth risking. I would have waited until the next opportunity to finish with the pencils, like when I was on the plane or something. However I am thrilled that it worked out and you have a beautiful finished piece. I am also sure that you are going to make a point of keeping all your supplies in an easy to get to place in future, especially on the plane or at the airport. Happy travels ❤.
Thank you! Hope you have fun trying it out. There is another Porto video now here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0EaylO7LQ50.html&lc=UgypLkkpkKCZhFTNYdl4AaABAg
@ShaydaCampbell I watched it and loved the video. It is so good to see you painting a variety of things, but my favorite is the way you "doodle" everything that makes "art fun and not scary". I am trying really hard to get compositions of flowers. So it breaks down the skill. First you help "doodle" the flowers and get good at drawing/painting them. Then you make art or decorate your bullet journal using the flower "doodles". So it makes concentrating on the composition easier because I am not trying to learn how to make the flowers. I commented on the building video too. But to add to my comment, I appreciate you breaking down things step by step.
