Your art is beautiful and inspiring! Thank you for uploading your videos! P. S. If you want your canvas to be smooth after the gessoing process, you can sand it down. Ideally, you have to sand every coat of gesso you are laying down.

First I would like to say I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and your advice on so many things has been very informative. Thank you for your assistance and easily understood content. Would you mind making a video more on how you choose your colors and the color placements? I have a hard time finding the correct positions where light goes. I’ve been working on my colors so I’m able to have a more cohesive color scheme rather than a rainbow that ends up a muddy mess. Thanks

I’m always impressed with your color selection, scheme. Choosing colors is the most difficult part for me. Great work.

Thanks! It's the hardest part for me too, but practicing colour theory has made it easier over time. 😊

I agree the middle stage is always the hardest stage for me. Also, do you ever tone your canvas with a thin wash before you start. Your art style is different from mine so I am not sure how much it will effect your finished product. I always tone my canvas first so the brightness of the white paint does not show through the paint layers.

How do you choose color placement? Is it pre-planned your highlights and lowlights? Also, do you freehand the sketch before? I feel like I've scoured your videos and have never seen the whole process, im just always so intrigued. Love your work as always!!! Beautiful work, beautiful person ❤

Love your videos! I have a request. Can you start letting us know what the background music is your using in your videos? You always pick the dopest tracks and I have no idea what it is! Thanks for sharing your wonderful work. You are very inspiring to me as a portrait painter.

I just found your channel and I’m digging your style...I was wondering do you use a projector to transfer a image or do you just free hand it?

Next time try sanding the canvas before and after applying gesso. See if that helps.
