Thank you! Paint can be expensive but try Ecoline from Talens. They are more affordable than Dr. Ph. Martins.

They are called Prismacolor Soft Core and are a color pencil

You can also buy the pencil by itself. If your in the states , go to a mom and pop art store and not a major art store chain. Also get a good sharpener for these pencils

The green is a tattoo color from Eternal called Jade. You have to dilute it heavily with water to be able to paint with it. The yellow is 26B Golden Brown from Dr. Ph. Martins. Hope it helps and thank you for watching!

Hey question are you using the India inks to shade or filler. I have both sets. The India inks and Hydrus water colors from ph martins.

@@garrett3919 So far I was using the bombay inks for filling color, and a matte type india ink for shading. The shading with matte ink is working out pretty well actually, tho def still a work in progress. But the bombay for filling color has been a bit rough so far. Big streaky areas and very splotchy. I'm not sure if it's the ink or the way I'm painting it on, which I'm not ruling out considering I'm not super great with brushes yet lol Ive heard good things about the hydrus ink also, I haven't found it In my local art stores though. I was using Windsor & Newton brush markers before which were working well actually, I just thought the ink and brush looked so smooth and great watching people online but I'm having trouble getting those smooth results.

@@Bb186fo I'm in the same boat. I just got back and bought the b5 speedball nib and speedball ink and the arches paper. Arches has always been really good. I spent more money bouncing around trying too many different things but since these videos I just go with his supplies and practice practice. I use water and not spit to shade. I do love the Bombay inks for filler though. The red is so vibrant and so are the greens and yellows. I also grabbed the fw ink for staining before laying down color. But yeah check what kind of paper your using first. I learned that the Canson was straight garbage and just smeared the water when it came time to shade. Also I was using a sharpie paint marker for lining and it would stand out and look splotchy when I started to blend the watercolors.

I've not tried the Bombay Ink. I'm using Dr. Ph. Martings Concentrated. What I do when I fill an area solid is that I go over it multiple times making sure it doesn't dry until it's fully covered. If the paint dries unevenly there will be streaks in the color. Hope it helps!

Hi! On my channel I will not teach anything related to tattooing other than how to paint flash. I think tattooing is something you should teach from a mentor as there are big health risks involved. Thank you! No I haven’t tried a China marker but I think I have to now. 😄 Ordering one as we speak. It’s a regular Swedish cup of coffee. 🤣 No special blend but I think we drink our coffee pretty strong compared to other parts of the globe. Make a strong cup of mocha and try out. @@SoberjoeSe Awesome! Haha okay, sounds good. I was a assuming that it was a stronger type based on the color but I'm not all that knowledgeable on coffee! I know my Dad likes his coffee strong so I'll have to pilfer some of his haha I'll send something over shortly!
