Today we're painting a Warhammer ultra marine Hello and welcome back to Miniverse! In this episode, I aim to show you how to make Your own Warhammer diorama! #diorama #shortswithcamilla #warhammer #painting #miniature
I had put them aside to dedicate myself to the more "normal" classic modeling. But now I've found my old SUPPLICERS (that's what they're called in Italy) and the death guard and I've started again. I've noticed that there's a lot of difference between mine and those that exist now. first of all the height (I haven't followed 40k for years) but it doesn't matter because I don't play, I only paint and what I like, FOR THE EMPEROR or DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR.😉
It doesn’t look bad, but you may just want even up those coats a bit more, you can still kinda see where it wasn’t fully evened out underneath the streaking grime
One of my marines recently melted under heat. It was in a glass case in my 3rd bedroom in a diorama. When we redid the blinds, we accidentally let the sun hit the display for a half hour or so. In the U.S. mid-west, that is a problem. Thankfully, only one of my marines melted, and it didn't melt catastrophically. I used it as an opportunity to rebuild. I boiled water and re-bent the weapons back. I then magnetized the marine, but added a flare. His torso had bent so that the armor had gaps. Instead of filling, I left the gaps and hollowed the base. I'm currently hollowing the backpack to take the battery for a small LED circuit. The tests already look good, I just need to hide the wires much better. I highly encourage everyone to try something different. Make lemonade from lemons.
One of my friends accidentally broke off Angron’s wing, so instead of reusing the same wing I whittled up some bones that fit the size with some old sprue, and made a torn up new wing with the sprue bones and green stuff. Makes my Angron so much more unique wherever I go.
Remember you can move the brush but you also can move the mini around. Then you make a brace with other fingers on the hand that holds the brush, to the hand that holds the mini- like a tripod for a camera or a rifle, for stability.
i think this is the same mini my local warhammer store gave me. i never painted it yet. been a fan of warhammer lore for a while and painting mini figs has been heavy on my mind lol. idk if im prepared to spend my life savings though😭
That's fair enough, if you paint your first mini and enjoy it buy a small box and continue to see if you like it, if you have any questions tell free to ask.
@@Themodelman i lied.. im definitely ready. i just want the best things for it all😭 best space, desk, pallets, brushes etc😭. i also have way too many interests within 40k idk where i want to start. i LOVE the iron warriors and the death guard but idk if i should atart with them😭
Ok I appreciate the grimy style, gives a feel of long term engagement, but why not put some blood stains and gore on ‘em? I rarely see anyone take that approach (except Maverick) and space marines, even if they aren’t assault marines, will usually get SOMETHING in that range after a long enough time right?
Is he saying "it's enamel time"? Somehow cant quite make out the one key word to this whole thing. Cover them in some enamel and then remove with mineral spirits, right?
I dont understand ultramarine players. If 40k was a vineyard and you went to a tasting, and out of aaaaall their options you said "nah Ill put all my money in the generic bottle labled 'wine', thanks."
And why the hell not ? They're a beautiful and attractive chapter, the aesthetic prolly pleases a lot of people. Which obviously make them the "poster boys" of 40k. Like a young girl who would like to introduce their new bf to the fam, would she rather introduce a super gothic Templar dude or a classy rutilent Ultra ? No surprise they're a classic and a successful choice of chapter. They're chads. The bottle of wine you're talking about is usually a sure shot to bring to diners and parties ;) Maybe not a risky or exotic choice, but a sure shot nonetheless. To each their own. +++ Beware, you're on the edge of heresy +++
@iamfondoftmnt Maaaaaybe, but I'd replace "classy" with "nerdy". You say the steady nerd is going to make your parents happy, but we all know Templars make the daughter happy. Also... the codex is a bunch of bunk! - Uphold the Honour of the Emporer
@@SomeGuyNamedRoy I was talking about the ASSthetics ASSpect! Not character ^^ But yeah, true, Templar will make dotty happy but only on a short term, then she and the whole familly will cry at some point. Whereas chad Smurf will be here for the long and serious run and will make dad-in law proud haha. Emperor protects indeed.
Why bother understanding it, are you the one who'll collect? No? This is like why the did you buy a Toyota when you can get a Ferrari. welp are you looking down on my taste because you think everything you like is way cooler? We aren't living in your world my friend...
It's gritty, purely because of the enamels and it looksnice for being relatively quick. I wouldn't call this grimdark, there's more to the grimdark style than just enamels/oils. Grimdark is all about texture and theme
@@artjomskorde9852 its definitely is, I had a look and here is the full name as it doesn't always come up.ak AMMO MIG-1011 Enamel Black Wash, Multicolour, 35 ml
