Here’s some “constructive criticism” don’t listen to much to “constructive criticism” you’ve made an amazing channel with really interesting content all on your own! The more you do the more confident you will become in front of the camera and in your skills.. look at mighty car mods now, they were nowhere near your level in the beginning, my only advice is keep your passion for it and keep making videos.. I already look forward to your vids more than mcm’s... and I love Mcm. all that will help you is time the more you grow the channel the more people subscribe the more budget will come and more content you can make. Keep it up, it’s incredible 👍🏼

Just a tip that works for me, try and over lap half way through a panel such as if you was painting the quarter and door you would stop half way through the door to avoid any potential runs and build up on the edge of the panel or door handles where it would be hard remove after. 10/10 for your effort tho keep it up!

Always work from top to bottom, especially in a down draft booth. Nice job!

First video of yours I have seen and I am definitely impressed man! Subbed and looking forward to seeing more! I have a video of the Subaru World Rally blue which is the same theory with a tinted (candy) blue coat if anyone is interested. But I must say, Hats off to you mate! for someone that's only painted twice, you did a fantastic job. I've worked with guys that have been in the trade for a long time that couldn't get a job that nice. Couple of things I would suggest that could improve your job for next time would be, mask off all your holes (door handle holes, indicator holes etc) to stop dust and debris flying out while painting. and when your final cleaning with prepsol, I like to use a wipe on wipe off method as opposed to spray on, wipe off. Allowing the prepsol to dry on its own CAN cause your paint to react, especially when its a warm day.

i got tired out just watching you work. that's like a BAJILLION hours.

Very nice vid i love the work you have done to the car, maybe next time you paint a whole car, remove both off the hoods, much easier keeping the clearcoat wet with your style of painting, and usualy much less dust :) no need to worry about paint not matching on a mettalic, the problem is more with heavy silvers and tri-coat paints :) keep up the amazing work bro love it!

The only constructive criticism I have is that you should have worked from top down. Still turned out really good. I sprayed that R33 gtst behind you in my garage.

Just a bit of feedback, I think personally between 10-20ish minutes is the perfect amount going over 20 has often kept me from clicking on videos because of not having enough time etc so I'd be wary of extending the videos

You explain every step very well, the footage of what you explain is on point, I know talking to the camera is awful but you're just starting to get used to it and I think you're doing great mate. The tunes are nice, the video quality is great. Don't know what else to say haha We cannot wait to see this car running and I hope it will be done in March! Should we expect any S14 content before the R34 is finished or are you leaving it for after the car is fully done?

Well, as you want constructive criticism, I'd prefer when you talking on the mic while editing, to decrease the echo. As I've seen in the previews videos, the place where the pc is, is kinda big and "empty". That's why I think there is echo. Try to reduce a little bit. All in all, everything is perfect. Amazing skills on editing, and of course on car engineering. Dude! You are at your 20s.. You have big respect from 2 guys we're watching you from Greece! Keep up your passion. Can't wait to see the final results. Everything is nice and clean. Cheers!

Re some constructive criticism, imo the painting process has prob had enough videos done on it, I’d move on to final assembly for the next one and prob explain the good/bad of the build so far in it.

Tbh, this is just how i want the videos to be. But a few more personal videos would not be wrong. For examlpe u take the camera during the filming and explain at that moment, that way i feel like its more personal

Anyone outside of Australia or New Zealand (I'm from Canada), the paint used, as far as I can find out is here: protec.com.au/ a general search found me several "pro tec/protech/protechs/protects" paints and more actual body shops with that name as well. In various parts of the world. Additionally, "Haymes" can be found but does not list Pro Tec and Pro Tec in turn does not list "Haymes" but does show a supplier, Anchor, in O'Conner so that may just be the automotive side out of the same building, don't know. Please correct me if this is in error, I was just looking for more information.

Around minute 08:08 you have a overlap of two songs. I would reccomend you to let the leading song fade out and then let the following one fade in. Would sound nicer in my opinion. Just came across this channel. I'm a painter full time and you did pretty good work! Some bonus tips are you can sand the primer a little more aggressive with 400 grit and just spray one coat of primer sealer to take care of scratches. Also latex gloves, to prevent any oil from the skin while cleaning!

I think you're doing everything pretty good, the video quality is quite good and detailed, I can hear everything you say just fine, I know exactly what you mean about talking to a camera (especially if there is anyone else near you at the time), only suggestion I can think of is switch up the music a little

I would recommend using a dark outline color for your captions. At the start of the paint room I couldn't read the white words over the white room and primer car. Also when you were dry sanding the car you didn't have a mask. I made the mistake of cutting a fiberglass tub with no mask and the crushing pain in my chest from my lungs was excruciating. For my R34 I would want the orange signal lights and the original tail lights. The clear signals make me think of hazy headlights and the tail lights on now just look cheaper and too flashy. However it is your R34. I would also cut out the SKYLINE letters on the trunk and put an RGB light bar for the letters. I saw someone with an R32 do it. Headlights and tail lights were RGB too but I wouldn't go that far. The fog light and reverse light I'm conflicted. 1 fog and 1 reverse is how GTRs are configured but the asymmetry drives my autism up. I guess I would rig my lights a little differently. 2 reverse and re-purpose the fog light in the tail lights. Also never liked how the break lights are only the outer circles not all 4. Getting ahead of myself when I have 4 years waiting and $100,000+ USD needed. NFS it is I guess. :'(

Skills and Prepping. Prepping the car is so impotant. If you messed that step up, your paint job will look like crap.

I don’t understand videos like this, such a cool car to be doing but why do it wrong? Wet sanding porous primer then scotching all your mechanical key away at the end. You realise 400 on a number 3 orbital sander covers fine with BC not to mention the wet on wet ground actually sticking to 800/grey scotch. Not to mention not clearing from the roof down so you don’t cover the car in dry spray when you do the roof last. Can only imagine the hours spent on the buff from doing the job wrong.

Cost breakdown or itemised costs of everything along the way would be awesome. We want to know how much we need in the kitty to take on a project like this👍

The only thing i didn't like on It is that carbon fiber thing on the trunk,i preffer the stock spoiler,but since It's YOUR car, It's YOUR choice😁

Looking good so far bud car looks mint. Honestly the lack of constructive criticism is due to the already good quality of videos you produce if anything, maybe when it comes to parts or upgrades for builds ask the viewers or do a vote on your suggestions or ideas of what your thinking

From your technique looks like you have developed some good painting skills and abilities. Those translucent colors can be tricky indeed. And wet on wet primer here in the states is called primer sealer or just sealer. Great work 👌🏻 Ps don’t worry, talking into a camera is going to be something that comes over time. Stay Sprayin 🤙🏻

I don't think you should show the end result at the beginning of the video, people are more likely to watch the whole video of they are slowly seeing the car come together then see the final result at the end of the video

Well done 👍🏻 you are doing a good job talking to the camera, it will get more natural over time. It’s taken myself over a year to get comfortable on my channel. A few tips have a prompt car next to your camera so you know what points to cover and the order you want. Another weird tip is I pretend I’m talking to a mate who is on the other side of the camera. Hope that helps
