I purchased one from DXE a month ago and I can’t be happier with it. Very easy to tune, the marks on the whip are spot on. With this system I have explored other bands. Thanks for the video K7WHN

Awesome video as usual Thomas. I have been following your videos for a month or two now. I am in the process of relearning Morse Code and I have been using your POTA Activation Videos as part of my "training" ...attempting to follow along as you send and receive your QSO's. I am starting to gain some proficiency, and every day I am able to pick out more and more ow what is being sent...it's finally starting to gel. As an aside, I learned Morse Code at 5 WPM to get my General ticket many years ago. The kick star for me was that I recently purchased a KX-2 "shack in the box" and I am now motivated to get up to 15-20 WPM. Watching your videos is truly motivational! Keep them coming. Thanks and 72, Chip (KL7CA)

@@ThomasK4SWL There seems to be a something of a "club" of us following your sending as a Morse learning aid :) ..... Thanks Thomas, I really appreciate and enjoy your video's. I've gone for the MC-750 and TX-500 partly on your recommendation although I'm yet to try the Chelegance as I've been travelling since it arrived but have a few days vacation next week, so hope to try it then. 72 de Richard M0SNR

Another great contact, Thomas! This one was especially fun for me after watching this since I remember I was using my TR-35 next to my work computer. 5W both ways… Michael - N7CCD

Always good to watch one of your videos before I head out to do some POTA- I am actually planning on taking my new Yaesu FT-818nd for it's maiden voyage. A bit cold out so I will probably have to activate in my car. I am planning on showcasing how to spot using APRS. (also considering writing this activation up in the hopes that you will accept it as a guest post

Speed contacts at dusk! Thanks for the inspiration. What is the gauge of coax you’re using? Did it come with the antenna? A resonant vertical would be awesome. de KI7VLV

Thanks for the comment! I use RG-174 with the MC-750. Most of my other cables are RG-316, however.

How does the MC-750 compare to the Buddistick????

I have never used a Buddistick so can't comment. I can say that so far I'm very pleased with the MC-750.
