First of all, you have to turn on the bluetooth capability on your cellphone. This is the process to turn on the bluetooth. For some other phones, you will need to search the device. Make sure you turn on the search device so that they can look for the vehicle bluetooth. And now it's ready to pair.
On the steering wheel there is a button - it's called a the voice command button. Press it and wait for the beep sound, and say "pair". (Voice Command: Pair. Press the tab switch and say a name for the phone.) My first blue tooth phone. (Voice Command: Press the tab switch and say "Confirm".) Confirm. (Voice Command: To use the Internet bluetooth audio player feature of the phone, say "internet audio"; otherwise, say "phone only".) Phone only. (Voice Command: Phone only. Press the tab switch and say "Confirm".) Confirm. (Voice Command: Ready for phone pairing. Please use the phone to connect it to the hands-free system. The pass key for the phone is 0000. Searching....)
So when you look here, this is the pass key. Then you come back to the cellphone. You'll see, there's a "Car Multi-Media". It's not paired. Now, if I just select it will prompt me for the pass code, so I'll just put in 0000 and hit "Pair".
Voice command: The phone is paired. Press the tab switch and say pair phone or set cancel.
Now if you look at the display, the phone is paired. Every time, when you see the BT logo and the receive signal, the means the phone recognizes the bluetooth of the vehicle.
I'm gonna dial a number and use the voice dial. I press the voice command and say "Dial by number". (Voice command: "Dial by number. Please press the tab switch and say the number.") 780-439-3939. After the number is confirmed, [or] is correct, then I press the off hold switch. See, you don't have to touch your phone.
