Thank you very very much for taking the time to show us how to do this correctly and actually doing it in English and slowly enough so everybody can actually hear what's going on. Thank you wishing you and your family nothing but the very best
Great! I’m glad I found your video. My Bluetooth scan tool stopped connecting to my android radio but I followed your steps and now it’s working. Thank you.
Hi, is there a better OBD2 sensor that works better or faster with the Torque app on a Joying Android head unit , as opposed to the one Joying supplies as an option.
How do I add custom PID’s for a Jeep that has a engine conversion to monitor oil pressure etc. the current PID list doesn’t even have oil pressure selectable
Hi, Yes you can have your phone connected and listening to music while the OBD2 adapter is connected. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
every time i try to select the bluetooth device the OS doesn’t respond. the field highlights as if it’s been touched but it doesn’t actually pair. tried with two OBD adaptors which both connect to iPhone

Hey Dylan, I bought an Eonon double din and Eonon emailed me saying that the device is Google Play protected. However after installing the unit I went into google play settings in the Eonon unit and it says that the device is not Google Play certified. I then went into the list with hundreds of Google play certified companies and Eonon is not listed. I then removed my Google play account from the device so that my personal information wasn't loaded on the device. Do you have any tips for using a device like this while protecting your personal information from the companies software developers and potential theft of the unit?? So far, I have considered creating a secondary Google account solely for the use of the Eonon car stereo and logging out after I have downloaded the apps I need. The reason I bought Eonon is because it was listed as # 4 on a top 10 list for best Android radios in 2020 up against companies like Alpine Sony Pioneer and Kenwood all of which have a limited interface via android auto or screen mirroring.
We don't know what list you are looking at but Eonon is a cheepo Chinese head unit. They are not properly licensed, mostly piratefd software, have cheap hardware and certainly are not fully integrated wth Google. They couldn't be even if they wanted to - Google is illegial in China. Insane Audio is an American manufacturing company and our products are leaps and bounds above any of the Cheepo Chinese brands. Everything from our hardware, to our custom software to our Google integration is second to none. For example, not only can you download anything you'd like from the Google Play store with our products, but we are even fully integrated within the Google Assistant. You can even voice dial with our product. The product you want is this one - www.insaneaudio.com/dd2001
For head units. You need a wifi connection. Either hotspot from you phone or a dedicated wifi hotspot device. I believe some new head units has a port where you can plug in a sim card as if it is a handheld tablet. Of course which you need to get a sim card with data for that usage.
Hi William, Our head units are able to do a lot of things. One of them is connecting to the internet by using the Hotspot feature on your phone or by connecting to a WiFi network. This will allow you to download apps from the Google PlayStore directly to our head unit. Please reach out to info@insaneaudio.com for more questions. Thanks. 😊

This head unit is garbage I have it and it doesn’t work right half the time and the OBD won’t shows connected but won’t do anything in real time or fault says it cant be found. I should know better cause its an Android device and Android is garbage
All these videos that everyone makes on how to connect this fantastic great who cares. How the hell do you unpair an OBD2 reader from your torque app. Not one person anywhere has made that video. Or at least not in the 35 damn videos I've watched. There's got to be a way to disconnect a reader if it's lost broken stolen loaned out whatever. And that's what I need to know. Loan line out and it didn't come back because they supposedly lost it.
