Date: 27.11.2018 HH The Ambassador of Japan, Embassy of Japan Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia I bought a 2016 Montero Sport car 3.00 4x4 (chasse No. MMEMC71XXGH023615) on 16.07.2016 from your Saudi dealer (Alesayi Motors) for 118,000 Saudi Riyals; but, manufacturing deficits appeared since day Two. I noticed the following: 1. Engine heat rise 2. Transmission heat rise 3. Excessive petrol consumption in away different from what was noticed in the user's manual 4. Sonar dysfunction I went to the dealer (Dammam City branch) and there I met with the maintenance manager and sales manager and explained everything for them. They talked to me disparagingly ; and, they kept stalling and stalling every time I went to them. All they kept saying that the car was Ok and normal. They, further, said that these "problems" were normal because of the weather conditions. I was surprised because no such problems were, as I knew, happened to the other cars of the same model. Later, they sent me a letter after claiming they inspected the car saying there was no problem. Now, the car is parked still because I am afraid the guarantee mileage would expire and I might lose my right for compensation and essentially fear for my life and others'. Furthermore, I took the car to Zayani Motors S. P. C in Bahrain (a Mitsubishi dealer) for checking. They, after checking it for only the overheating, told me that it had, indeed, the problem. They provided me with a letter confirming that the car had the problem I complained about. The letter stated a Manufacture Recommendation to do necessary repairs on 23.02.2018. The Saudi Dealer failed to inform me of such required repair. For it is a serious matter, the maintenance manager in Zayani called the maintenance manager in Dammam branch and explained to him the problem. I started on 05.11.2017 to send emails to persons in Mitsubishi I thought they would help me solving my problem. No response was received at all. I, also, travelled to Dubai to meet the regional director of Mitsubishi. We met in the office of the industrial security of Jabal Ali (Gate No. 7). The director asked me to meet him again to solve the problem the next day. He did not appear as promised. The security guards advised me to call the police to document the incident and file a complaint. I did. The police came and we went together to the police station and they said my case was not criminal. (the incident was witnessed by the officer in permit office Hussain Ali Al-Ajmi -phone No. 00971526844484). Please, solve this dilemma to avoid more losses and emotional hardship as both the local dealer in Jeddah City and the regional office of Mitsubishi Motors in Dubai deny me the right to have a vehicle free of manufacturing deficits within the warranty period and mileage, specially the Mitsubishi admitted previously which was confirmed by the dealer in Bahrain that this type of vehicles had such deficits. I cannot imagine that the image of the high-quality products of Japan can be destroyed so easily by such dealer. I still want to keep this shiny image of high quality of the Japanese products vivid in my mind and my friends' and not let it fade away.
