Yeh mandir jammu mai hai Kashmir mai nhi, Kashmir jammu se boht chota hai, pehle ladakh ko bhi Kashmir mai he gina jata thaa,but waha ka culture jammu ka culture, Kashmir ka culture alag hai,

When Mother beheaded bhairav nath, his head was still alive. He begged for her forgiveness, praises her. Pleases by his prayer mother gives boon to him that my devotees will also visit u after me. Without your 'darshan' my devotee's Yaatra will be incomplete.

Before 1947 people used to come in summer to sleep for the night on the banks of river tawi as cool breeze would flow on the banks of the river and would go back in the morning by train. Mata Vaishanv Devi shrine board has done tremendous job of ensuring minimum difficulties being faced by the devotees unlike other temples, the entire pathways have been properly shedded and secured. I visited Mata Shrine few weeks back for the first time and it was tremendous visit by the grace of Mata. The reason why Bhairav Temple was built and had to pay a visit, moment he was about to die, he sought her forgiveness and requested not to remember him as a demon though being a wise and knowledgeable being, so mata gave him boon that he won't be remembered in disrespect and one who visit mata had to visit bhairav as well to be make the journey successful.
