All the cars down there make me wonder about the road above. The rapids themselves look a bit like the rapid called Upper Death on the Colorado River where it goes through Glenwood Canyon when the water is low. It's impossible to run at low water due to all the rocks, but in high water it becomes only almost impossible to run. If you study it at low water so that you know where the rocks are and can picture what they will be doing hydrolically, then when the water is high enough and you study it before putting in, you'll be able to see the line, and if you're fit enough and have good enough skills, you will make it down. Otherwise, don't run it or you'll find out why it has its name. I think Nouria would make it look like child's play.
The ends of the paddle look pretty different to what we usually see so I went looking at the Werner website -- might be an Odachi (but it might just be the GoPro perspective warping the field of vision, idk)
Pakidaile is in Ecuador. They mention it here - it's an infamous river for being unrunnable apparently! whitewaterawards.com/2021-rider-of-the-year-newman/
