Because he himself is a professional pilot & could visualize in his head the entire scenario by listening to the ATC pilot conversations n having runway and airport lay outs. Superb Analysis, but the question remains, what caused the plane to try belly landing in the 1st attempt? Landing gear failure? If so, PIA and it’s maintenance engineers are absolutely responsible for the loss of lives.

I did not hear any panic in pilot's voice. He was very calm. Pilot was fasting, I would guess. Sugar level low, was not thinking clearly. I am glad, he did not chant "Allah O Akbar". Otherwise it would have become MH 370 investigation. May the soul of Pilot and co-passengers rest in peace -

The pilot saved lives of around 160 passenger Breaks were not working properly It could have been worse than this infortunate karachi incident But he turned off the engines and tried to empty fuel so that speed of aircraft can be reduced .

While you are in so much stress, you don't carefully listen to what people are saying. Only the pilot knows what is going through his mind

Explained so well. For a layman like me, It was a movie running in front of my eyes. I could put myself in the pilot's shoe, passengers that were onboard, crew on the plane, controller and his team, families who knew their loved ones are on that flight and in danger - I had fear while hearing the story. Have you ever seen buses travelling in hilly areas! As in Uttrakhand and Himanchal Pradesh? Driving a bus in hilly areas are much more risky than this! I am from UK, i have many past incident where i have seen many accidents in front of my eyes! In 2011 a roadways bus fall down in river from height of 250 ft and 50 passenger died on spot!

A pilot across borders can understand and sympathise but a solider is not made to because politicians make them. We as citizens should understand old fights need to be forgotten, unfortunately not that easy north Korea South Korea have same level of hate Pakistan and India have, the European union was made that neighbouring countries would discontinue historical fights. Sometimes experience, skill, may not support when God thinks something else. It's very painful to hear such news from any part of the world. RIP to the passengers, crews, & other civilians who lost their precious life in this accident.
This is not at all a normal behaviour when you see an eminent death infront of you, one can be brave but what about those 100 other passangers who were there in that plane, it has to be natural that the pilot have to be worried about their safety, but the pilot seems to be very cool in his all actions...that means the investigation agency need to check on other angles too.

Just imagine what an IAF jet fighter goes through, my brother is a pilot in Indian Air Force, everyday we live in fear, papa asked him 1000s times to quit this job but he is passionate about forces and says if I die on duty that would be the best way to die.

I was getting stressed when Gaurav sir was explaining the situation, now imagine situation of a pilot when he/she is flying.This is seriously a tough job maybe that's why pilots are paid well and we shouldn't be complaining. They deserve a lot for maintaining their calm when they flying.
Guys let us be careful in what we say, was he on a suicide mission that we should appreciate his calmness? Infact his calmness indicated that the pilots for some time had already realized they we were going, also it shows a little lack of concern that 90 other innocent lives were being lost along with them. I do not see why we should appreciate his calmness given that 90 people died.
I do salute his calmness because in such a situation also pilot actually tried his level best to safe everyone's life but unfortunately couldn't.Plz show some respect for everyone on the flight as they all had families.Rest in peace to all.
@@sanahkhan9623 It is exactly out of respect of the 90 people who died in the air crash that we should be careful of what we say and not appreciate anybody's calmness. The plane tried an initial belly landing and metal scraped the runway, since then the pilots had all the time in the world to chalk out emergency plans. However they never were able to come up with one as there was panic or the pilots had accepted fail accompli. Have some heart to acknowledge that there might have been mistakes by pilot so that more of us are not killed in the future.

While listening all the conversation between Crew and Controller I was freaked out but the pilots were still confident. We should appreciate their courage , their voice didn't get cracked till the end. RIP to all the passengers and the brave crew who fought till their last breath. Plan was crashed near by my house. At that time i am in home and suddenly we heard huge bombing sound. I got out of home and run towards site. A lot fire their. Me and friends their to help in this situation throwing mud on the fire as well as buckets of water but w couldn't save lifes 😢😢😢😢😢😢😓😓😓😓😓

I am from pakistan lahore and one of the crew member " air hostess( Anum)" was from my street. She was my school fellow and i happened to see her (some times) while she was taking her route for the job. Very unfortunate event happened. I know her family may be not very well but as a long distance(but nt very long) neighbour. May all of them rest in peace. Amen.
Pilot was having 25 years of experience. This experience and courage speaks from his patience in this last words,no panic.. hes great and hes hero ... be blessed all the souls lost. I still salute the pilot..the painful situation he faced and endured during the full last few minutes to make everything go to right track will have drained his nerves.. that can be the max of the pressure one can think of. You became more respectful in my sight Mr Gaurav... Salute to Captain (Sajjad Gul) who tried his best till the last moment.. He was an experienced and mature pilot with over 17000 flying hours while serving for 20 years to PIA and in a country as corrupt as Pakistan, no one will ever allow the truth to come forward and entire blame will come to the captain.. A plane about 15 years old, staying unchecked for months due to lockdown, flew without proper checking as no one here is concerned with the plane's condition is believed to have no technical fault in Pakistan and our authorities are considering Captain Sajjad Gul on fault as he is no more here to defend him.. However, thanks a lot for your concerns, May Allah give speedy recovery to the only two survivors and grant every deceased soul a high rank in Heaven... Ameen 💔😓😭 We lost families, a well known model, a lieutenant, major and lot more but Captain Sajjad Gul, we are proud of you, you tried, you tried hard until your last breath, Salute to you and prayers to your family of four!!! You are the real hero, Captain, chin up in heaven!! 💜💜❤
