In response to India's relentless campaign to acquire modern European fighter jets, advanced weaponry & the latest tech for its indigenous tanks/aircraft, Pakistan has been compelled to rise to the challenge & address the widening gap in strategic deterrence. This way, India started an arms race in the region whose deprived people needed more for their development. Pakistan, despite its difficult economic situation, has managed to keep pace by developing its own jets and purchasing modern fighter jets and associated weaponry. The PAF's timely & remarkable decisions have made it a formidable force capable of facing any rival, regardless of numbers. Notably, the PAF surprised many by showcasing the RAAD cruise missile on the JF-17 Block 2, indicating that Block 3 is already capable of carrying nuclear missiles. Consequently, India's efforts to discredit the JF-17 Block 3 have failed. This integration was completed well before the retirement of the Mirages, which were previously tasked with carrying tactical weapons. No doubt, #PAF, has very skillfully used/upgraded aging Mirages in the times when even their French company has stopped making upgradation of these fighter jets. Interestingly, PAF purchased max Mirages from the other air forces who have retired these jets but PAF, made them work up to the max capability & when required used the old parts for running the other jets. At one time, PAF was having max strength of mirages more than any airforce in the World. Anyways, the current developments are extremely good news for Pakistanis, despite the ongoing political & economic turmoil in the country.
