Even in last ball also ...I felt fielding should have been more close with all the players to save single...there was so much of gap, they made it so easy for Sri Lanka to take last 2 runs.

Pakistan lost bcos of der batting and fielding.pak plyed very slow in first power play instead of attacking fast bowlers they wer defending on other hand Rohit scored quick 50.On wet field it is difficult for Spinners to turn the ball. Look at rizwan batting before rain and after.

From a neutral point of view, Match was REALLY good. Luck plays a role in last overs or so.😅 Both teams played very well. 🎉 Pak should better it's spin bowling before the world cup though.
I think practice sessions should be given as scenario based matches.For example we saw our openers are lacking to get runs in the powerplay we should consider a scenario of powerplay like give overs to your bowlers place the field same as powerplay and ask your top order to play and score runs in that way both bowlers and batters will get a good practice and coach should play the role of captain so Babar Azam could learn something based on situation. Do same for middle overs with old ball for spinners and do this in phases before going to world cup. The weather in Pakistan is now gonna be suitable even to practice daytime as well.

Before the start of Asia cup everyone was ignoring other teams as if it was bilateral series between India and Pakistan. SL has prove everyone wrong again . May even Win the cup
No one will or can disagree that the fast bowling attack failed miserably in both games. Obviously, can not shift the blame on Zaman & Wasim; especially Zaman, the boy was playing in the Caribbean league and our fantastic cricket board brought him down to SL from other side of the world. It will be extremely unfair to criticize Zaman. He is champ of a bowler. However, can’t say the same for Shaheen & the injured two! First in the 2nd game with India, there was no comparison, Indian bowling looked far superior. Today against SL, Shaheen looked “off” the new ball did nothing for him. His line & length didn’t suit the game. He was either too much on middle & leg or short of length. He was slaughtered by the Lankans. There was no zip in his spell, below par from the start. Shadab is the biggest disappointment, his bowling basically crapped out, no control, he could neither contain runs nor able to put pressure or take wickets. The only positive on Shadab in his fielding. Definitely the best in this team. The worst part of today’s 11 was Imam opting out due to back spasm, u kidding us, even the public can see he wanted to avoid a pressure situation. Such players who play sorry politics or are fearful should be dropped from the world cup squad. As far Fakhar he needs to do an introspect; his career is truly at cusps of going down the toilet. Abdullah Shafiq played a decent knock but failed to accelerate after his fifty. It looked he was playing for securing his position. Frankly, SL deserved to win & India should take the Asia cup, they are a better side, balanced bowling attack & front line batsmen that are technically correct. Harris to send him down the order made no sense; Fakhar has been a flop in this Asia cup, he should have been pushed down the order to bat. As far Pakistan, why do we expect more from these players. He behaves like a typical confused soldier looking at his officers what to do next. He lacks technique to play long innings. Idk why we can't see this. Faluka ha ya in simple words. Look at his feet movement, his right leg moves towards mid wicket while playing off side shot. We need to get rid of him. He lacks everything to be a confident player. Plus Baber needs to step up. Bowlers are the best fielders usually because of strong arm which can help cut off runs and force run outs. Pakistan's management is super dumb. Your premier bowlers should only play in games against top opponents. You can win against below average teams with a b or c team even. But, management somehow wants bowlers to play every match whether it's against Nepal or India

It's a miracle if they can win more games than lose in CWC. The only player who plays modern cricket in Pakistan is Babar Azam, when he fails, team fails, end of story. Yeah, pace bowling is good but it's all an illusion, they suffer of placid tracks, you probably would have seen matches on Pakistani tracks, they concede massive amount of runs. But sometimes Babar and Fakhar play miraculous knocks to chase those totals of 350. Most of times, bowling is below average. Pakistan team relies on miracles.

Main problem with fakhar zaman is dot balls.. instead of his normal attacking game he keeps defending and doting balls which then leads to pressure and then plays a false shot and gets out.. and most of our players have this problem.. strike rotation, single doubles can win you matches in one day cricket it's not test neither t20 u do not have to play too much aggressive and at the same you should not play too much dots that's it..

What a match!!!! Hard luck Pakistan. But I fail to understand DLS system. Defies common sense at times. Shouldn't runs have been added to Pak total by DLS method as Pakistan started batting considering a 50 overs match, so they would have scored at a slower place compared to if they had known it's a 42 over game right from the beginning. Would have loved to watch an India Pakistan final. But seems that was not to be. Anyways gearing up for India SL. Come on India.
