No Pakistan all time XI is complete without Zaheer and Miandad
@DoosraView

Zaheer Abbass is ranked the #2 All-Time Best Batsman in the history of ODI’s. Miandad is at #7 for All-Time Best Batsman in ODI’s. It wasn’t easy to leave out either but the focus remained on team combination

Mind you All players are selected as they were playing during their prime years Current Pakistan boys are good. But still need to win ICC trophies to be in lall time league

I think everyone’s selecting based on the athletes’ prime years. Great 11, maybe a little less resources on the batting side. Love to see the fighting Miandad there, knowing the time he played under and bowlers he played against. I disagree that Babar needs to win a trophy to become an all-time. He will soon be undeniable

@DoosraView Agree with you sir, Babar indeed is a good player. But his performance in ICC tournaments is pending. Inshallah it will come sooner or later but till then he will be behind Maindad and Zaheer abbas

Where are Javaid Miandad & Zaheer Abbas? Javaid Miandad not only one of the most relaiable Pakistani ODI batsmen but also one of the best All time finishers
@DoosraView
@DoosraView 9 месяцев назад
Truly Miandad was a remarkable finisher, that Sharjah 6 has a playlist to itself on Doosra View. However, team combination was kept in view, Imran had the ability to bat up the order at 2-down accompanying Babar if the situation demanded it

5 changes from mine and a solid team! My XI certainly had the better bowling while yours certainly had the better batting. Your XI is missing kph pace and spin

Razzaq would have been much better option than Afridi
@DoosraView
@DoosraView 9 месяцев назад
Razzaq wouldn’t have gotten overs considering Imran, Wasim, Waqar & Shoaib could bowl fast. Afridi’s fielding is also a number of levels above Razzaq’s

You lack knowledge on the game, as much as you are unaware about the history of the game from the standpoint of Pakistan cricket. I'll ask questions to rationalize my all - time 11. Have you seen the bat sizes of modern day cricket? Compare these thick meaty cannons (which are much lighter at the same time) with the heavy planks of wood they used to play with before 2002, after which ICC started changing bat thickness with sharper edges + 3 power plays in an ODI as compared to 10 over fielding restrictions in the 90s and 80s. What about the kind of ball they use today? Why doesn't it swing after the 7th or the 8th over? It was 1993 which marked the cuckoburrow ball as the new standard replacing Duke, that used to be a nightmare for batsmen in the 80s and 90s as it used to swing and seam for a longer period owing to the newness of the ball kept intact for an extended time i.e sometimes up to 45 overs. Difference in ball size, seam stiching and top quality batsmen to bowl to, make the bowlers of the 1990s and early 2000s the finest as they had to bowl with the challenging cuckuburrow. I often sympathize with bowlers of today also, but the fact remains there's not much talent in bowlers in modern day cricket anymore. My all - time 11: 1. Majid Khan 2. Saeed Anwar 3. Zaheer Abbas (called the Asian Bradman way back in the late 1970s and early 80s for no small reason) 4. Javed Miandad (Put Babar in his place with the heavy plank he hit a six with on that last ball in 86. Babar would certainly hit a six if the opposition was Nepal I guess) 5. Mohammad Yousuf (Could've put Inzamam here, but Yousuf wasn't just a flat track bully. He had the ability to adjust everywhere, be it green tops or bouncy hard surfaces like Australia) 6. Imran Khan (c) 7. Moin Khan (Preferring him over Rashid Latif in ODIs, however I'd like Latif in his place in tests) 8. Wasim Akram 9. Waqar Younus 10. Saqlain Mushtaq (Honorable mentions would be late Abdul Qadir, for both ODIs and tests as Richie Benaud rated him higher than Shane Warne. If Saqi invented "doosra, Qadir invented the "googly". So they're even.) 11. Shoaib Akhtar (Asif in his place in tests) Please do some research on the history of cricket I'd advise you as someone who takes alot of pride in being genuinely aware about this beautiful game. As a modern day viewer of today, please do not ignore those good old days when cricket truly was cricket rather than baseball entertainment that it has become in the contemporary times. Do not insult Pakistan cricket by including the likes of Sarfaraz or even Rizwan in the all - time 11. Please! And underline the word please several times!

Brother I appreciate your passion but in the end, this is just a list, it’s an opinion. It’s not a fact of history, although you can find that in plenty on the channel and add to your knowledge. Coming to your 11, there is only one spinner in your team while Majid Khan has only played 23 ODI’s. This is not a Test match list since you mentioned that a couple of times. If you want to embrace the gold old days, please don’t do that at the expense of latter Pakistani cricketers who have earned their names. For the middle-order, I am the biggest Yousaf fan but anyone who has followed his career’s latter stages, knows he was in and out of ODI’s before he retired as a Test player. Inzamam on the other hand is a middle order great who was never dropped, I guess that ‘92 semi-final innings wasn’t played in Australia but on a flat deck somewhere. Regarding it being insulting that Rizwan or Sarfraz were included over Moin or Rashid, you must be easily insulted, sir. Even though Rizwan is not in my 11, he will no doubt go down as the best keeper Pakistan produced when it’s done. As for Saifi, not only is he wily and gritty but I rate him over Moin and Rashid as an overall cricketer. Not including Zaheer and Javed was extremely difficult but team combination was preferred

@@DoosraViewAgreed on Majid Khan's limited experience in ODIs, however I would deem Hafeez as an allrounder more than a specialist opening batsman. He's been more handy with the ball than with the bat, the latter trait being quite average with him almost having no ability to play moving balls. I could include him as a second all rounder but there isn't any need in a team of 11 when you already have Imran Khan, who by way of stats in ODIs if you prefer over anything else, can be easily replaced by Abdur Razzak! So player quality matters, the conditions in which that player has played matters! For an opener, you need a specialist and not just an all rounder who seemingly offers dual benefits. I agree on Inzamam over Yousuf in ODIs, but taking a careful look at Inzi's career, most of his match winning innings in ODIs have been on flat tracks, apart from that 1992 innings against an average NZ bowling in a small ground. But it certainly was a great innings by Inzamam nonetheless. Completely disagree on Sarfaraz, his entire captaincy and tenure with the team was nothing more than a fluke. Worst cricketer of all time I'd say! And Rizwan to be included in the GOAT list? Please, I do not want to waste my time commenting on this but this player has been completely misplaced by you. Neither is he acrobatic in keeping, and he bats today in a batsman's paradise against average bowling. Cricket is what football is for Europeans. So please bear with me as I get maybe over-passionate about the game, specifically when it comes to GOATs!

Always a pleasure to talk cricket with a learned fan, thank you for your opinions. We will clearly agree to disagree on both Rizwan and Sarfraz btw, I’m not in the camp of rating Moin as a GOAT. There’s a video on Doosra View titled “Was Sarfraz a Lucky Captain?” You’ll enjoy that one, it has my view and my friend’s view. Moaaz, my dear friend, shared your perspective in the video

@@DoosraViewExactly! Sarfaraz was just lucky! I'll watch the video for sure. By the way I really like the way you've covered the content in most of your videos. Particularly the Wasim & Waqar video, also the Imran / Javed insider. Keep posting.
