It is total crap. The assembly took 7 long years to draft one clause constitution relating to the authority of the Governor-General.where is the rest of the constitution's draft? the fact is that all members were selectees of Mohammed Ali Jinnah elected on Muslim league tickets and only a few represented constituencies of their own. Members wanted to as much prolong their tenure in assembly as possible. They knew that once the constitution drafted and adopted they will have nowhere to be elected from especially the members of East Pakistan, from West Pakistan were mostly feudal. Local bodies elections in east Pakistan proved it as only 9 seats were won by Muslim League against over 400 by Awami League. Justice Munir asked the question to Tamiz Ud Din's advocate that how much is the longest time taken by any constituent assembly anywhere in the world to draft the constitution of their country? The answer was India and the time took was a year and nine months. So what else was left for Munir to make his judgment from? Contrary to the myth that verdict of the court was "law of necessity" only the law of necessity was actually brought into force only against an appeal in the same court that if the assembly was unlawful then acts performed by the government during all that period were also unlawful. A tall judge of Pakistan's Judiciary Justice Durab Patel has spoken very high of Justice Munir in his book and as far Governor General Ghulam Muhammad is concerned I may recommend the memoirs of Mr. Bashir titled as "Qasr e Sadarat Mein 16 Saal".

Dear Brother your work is so much appreciable but you said that martial law was imposed by General Ayub Khan that's wrong rather martial law was declared by President Sikander Mirza and Ayub Khan was appointed by Sikander Mirza as chief martial law administrator(CMLA) But latter on when a conspiracy was exposed by Ayub Khan devised by Sikander Mirza, he was removed from the post of president and exiled to UK where he died and he was brought by the Shah of Iran and buried in Tehran because Pakistan was not ready to bring his dead body.
