It was the north-western region of British India that should not be confused with the Republic of India that itself was created in 1947. With the exception of the Peshawar valley, the entire area was annexed from Afghanistan by British Colonialists in the late 19th century. Ghaffar Khan was a reformer and freedom fighter and he proposed a joint struggle for independence to the AIML before it was offered to the Congress. His primary objective was to free the Pashtun land from British colonial rule. In the subsequent stage, the aim was the reunification of the entire Pashtun land with Afghanistan. Unfortunately, the British insisted on dividing their colony into two parts only, which was unjust to those with distinct identities, values, histories, and cultures from other South Asians.

I often hear people talking about radiclaization In India. This may be only on Social media. In Schools , collages or Corporate life there is nothing of. that sort/ My son who is 14 would know no difference between Hindu and Muslim for him he is just two human following their faith. There is absolutely no bias or hatred in corporate . I have Muslim friends who would visit temple with me. Have known Muslims who enjoyed Jagjit singh - Hey RAM... there is divide where people are uneducated.

Firstly, just to remind you that Pakistan is an Islamic state so it's inevitable for Pakistan to think and make decisions based on religious grounds and if it don't then there is no point for its creation I mean, what's the point of partition then? Suppose If India and and Pakistan both were Secular when they got independence then do u think there was a need for two separate countries? Pakistan came into existence so that Muslims can practice their religion freely without any compulsion. So it's very illogical of you making such statements. Secondly, India got its independence as a secular country and should endorse secular ideas. But unfortunately the case is opposite. Since BJP came into power their main agenda is to turn the country into so-called ''Hindu Rashtra''. Whenever u came across their media or I should rather say Godi media u will always find Hindu Muslim debates and paid-anchors shouting on the panelists. Many disturbing visuals comes out of India on an everyday basis where u see the terror outfit RSS doing its thing and yet this Andhbhakt came to school us. being as a Pakistani (living abroad) have to admit that our society been structured on basis of religion, for geo-political reasons; to assure citizens of its existence die to religion and a bond to exist, which personally, is not the way for nation like Pakistan, multi-language & cultural.

Secular & socialist words were incorporated in 42th Amendment 1976. And moreover this India is not a secular nation just because it's written in constitution.
