Actually Pakistan did the big mistake of declaring in the 1st innings. There was no need to do so. They should have batted long, made around 600 and batted Bangladesh out of the match considering how good the pitch was for batting. That first innings declaration and poor batting in the 2nd innings cost Pakistan the match.

All pace attack was a tactical mistake. Even in the deadliest conditions , at least one spinner should be there . Nathan Lyon will never be dropped from The Aussie squad , even at Perth . Balance should always be there in the bowling attack

Bangladesh Team played superbly specially the wicketkeeper Rahim. His temperament n technique was simply superb. Bangladeshi bowlers in the second innings bowled superbly n they brought pakistani team to their knees. On the other hand Pakistani Team under pressure simply scattered. They couldn't take advantage of home condition. I think some radical changes are to be made by PCB in order to perform better in next match.
Wish they had the spine to remove Babar for another skilled batsmen with much better cricket sense and ability. And shaheen afridi just had a baby. He should take a paternity break till the england series and replace him with a spinner.
His average would be even worse in 20s if India played tests in Pakistan too on your flat road wickets like this one. If Pakistan wants India to play bilateral tests witn him, PCB will have to actually REWARD AND CHOOSE PLAYERS BASED ON TALENT AND MERIT ALONE and reach the quality level of Emgland, Australia and India if they want to play India more in bilaterals too in the next decade!

Quality of Pak cricket has nose dived. Average speed of Bangladesh fast bowlers was higher than Pak fast bowlers. Pitch was wrongly blamed for being flat but it helped bowlers today.
