I just had that same experience! I don't like being mistreated and looked over. That pisses me off! I'm here with my money and my time and I should be treated the same as anyone else! Love you girls!
In cities like Lahore islamabad karachi if u r in a mall wearing shalwaar kameez(male) they consider u a freshie. It happened to us as well, some girls at centaurus mall kept looking at us n made fun of us (just because i was wearing hijab n my hubbie with shalwaar kameez) Pak people need to learn respect our own culture n language
I completely agree, you do get a sense of a lot of wealthy people in Pakistan do feel superior to others and they will treat anyone they feel isn't to their 'standard' differently. Its unfortunate and not everyone is the same, but I do feel being from the UK we take more pride in our culture, speak our language and we dress in our traditional clothing yet people there feel to meet their standards you need to be westernised, wear english clothing and speak english constantly.

I have till date never understood this concept of making people feel horrible about themselves especially a bride to be!! They’ve come to pick some outfits if you have something to offer do so if not keep your gobs shut if it wasn’t for people spending their money you so called designers would be broke jokes!

That's so true of our people. They always talk down to poor people or belittle them all the time. And all the foreign aid money gets spent to build mosques rather than spending on poor.
I don't know the social status of the people that served you, but a lot of the people who work in these stores come from poor families and the customers treat them like trash because most of them are either celebrities or really rich. Eventually, after being treated like that all the time, they become accustomed to having thick skin and being rude. If the store you went to had bad customer service its probably because the managers and chain owners aren't the nicest people, the associates only become like that because of the treatment. They assumed you were also like the other customers because even the average upper class Pakistani's can't afford the clothes you went to look at. Just act kindly towards them and maybe they'll act better. It's hard on these people to see others enjoying lavish lives when they can't even get food on the table or pay the bills

Still remember My mom, my grandma and I went to gulberg to shop. My grandma was in schock that clothes can be so expensive but yeh we still managed to spend 380000 pkr 😂😂
I have been invited to a wedding in Lahore but between all my clothing from USA not really appropriate my dislike for shopping and seeing the costs involved might just ask to pay my respects later after wedding. I’m stressed just trying to shop online lol 😥.
