Ren often puts subtle clues into where his next musical turn is going. In this one he mentions "raw thoughts" which may be a reference to the series by rapper Chris Webby. Chris Webby and Prof are two rap artists he said to be working on collabs with to be released in the future. Maybe the Chris Webby one will be next? Pure speculation but a fun one...

This is solely my opinion from my personal RENagade journey and things I feel that you had pointed out and very much liked in Rens music that weren't "RAP" songs per say. So Ren has a new album coming put this year called Slaughterhouse. He said it's not a RAP album like sick boi was full album of Rap. Slaughterhouse he says is something he is super excited about, and has said this album is for himself to do things he's wanted and said never been done before. Sooo we have seen even if Ren plays electric guitar he can RAP over it than sing than juggle than eat and do a live stream while seeing how many potatoes he can hold at once with telling a story and having a message!!! 😊❤❤❤
Ren did 2 rap collaborations soon coming out. One with Chris Webby and one with Prof. His next album is calked Slaughterhouse and is song based and experimental. There is a classic style rock album on the back burner and also the pilot he want to do for a pissible Netflix series. Me, I want song. But Ren. I think will return sometime, somehow to rap, I think.

(He used the lyric Raw thoughts in a verse).Ren has not given up rapping. It's just that in this next album, he wanted to get back to his roots and create a more timeless album. Ren has too much to say. You can fit more words in rap than in any other music form. So, yeah, I definitely want to hear another hip hop album. It will be different from his last one. We can always bank on Ren's music being different. 🌞

Apparently the next album (a new project not the previously planned albums) will be a dark, dystopian project called Slaughterhouse. He's been working on the concept with an artist in Canada. Very different to anything so far, he says!
N.B a track that doesn’t get as much love perhaps as most of REN’s tracks, which I think you’d enjoy, is ‘pocketful of pain’ from REN’s Freckled Angels album.
I agree. We need another rap album ... right after the next album titled Slaughterhouse which will be dominated by collabs, the singer/songwriter album that follows and fingers crossed a rock album after that.

Only reason I haven't been here at every vid is because I too got Lyme in my coconut from a tick. I don't want to be poor me, but Ren is my only idea as a purpose. I hope one day I can join him in advocacy. Unfortunately I'm probably never going to get a stem cell replacement, but I'm on steroids and antibiotics and it's, well. I had to quit my job and move in with my mother too. I lost everything I worked for. I never been inspired by another human my entire life, but he's really the reason I haven't let nihilism take hold and let it all beat me. Anyways, I'm Happy fo see you posting. You're one of the great ones. Underrated, but not for long. You're entertainment quality is undeniable.

Ren made his rap album because he always wanted to make one, and he could, being an independent artist. But he’s already said that the music coming is going to be mostly singing and instruments 🎸 Ren is still Ren, and I’m sure there will be elements of rapping, but he’s going back to his roots. More ska, blur, and oasis vibes. That’s my understanding anyway. He’s stated that this track was more or less, the ending of Sick Boi.
